This place is about 1/4 mi from my house. It has been demolished and Medical offices are being put in for the doctors who will be working at the new hospital in Fenton. I used to love this place as a kid. Always thought about it after it closed down. It was shut down a long time ago after someone was seriously hurt or killed on the "fast" slide. I remember how bad it hurt to fall off your mat when going down the slide. I remember being scared shitless riding the fast slide. RIP Wet Willy's

Some kid accidentally got killed when he broke his neck at the bottom. I don't know more specifics, but I did see that on a website dedicated to crazy places like this. Apparently the insurance premiums were so high after that they couldn't keep the place running. A shame for everyone.

I grew up about 5 minutes from this place and I went there a few times, it was very low rent even when it was in operation. Apparently some kid died there and it the park was shut down. I had no idea it was still there, I love how skaters have sort of taken over!!!!!
