Gowtham has a bad habit of breaking up amazing on-screen couples...First it was Anbuselvan-Maya in Kaakha Kaakha, then Suriya-Meghna in Vaaranam Aayiram and now Karthik-Jessie in VTV...

dude, i was just making a point about Gautham Menon and his films. Obv negative endings have more impact. Eg: Telugu version of Kaakha Kaakha wasnt a huge hit, despite having a postive ending (Maya doesnt die). I prefered the Tamil one personally. Same with VTV, i preferred the Tamil version more than the Telugu version, even though in the Telugu version Karthik and Jesse get together.
