OOps forgot to add ....Jum we left vietnam in '75 and you say "Im an '80 combat veteran from the vietnam war" huh I guess I question what the hell were you doing there in 80...shame shame
Considering that Jim Wasser was a veteran is ok but he was a water boy in vietnam. Try talking to real vets who did serve in real combat and you will find them backing John McCain 100%. Go home Jim and change your dirty pants !!
Considering the two choices we have, I will take Sen. John McCain over a freshman senator who has done nothing except run for an office. I am not willing to vote for someone that will raise taxes, prevent oil drilling in the U.S., and will be soft on illegal aliens. As a military wife, mother, and daughter, Sen. McCain gets my vote.
Employment Contracts Operating Engineers local 324 injured on the job
Case description: Unjustified labor practices
Injured on the job while working for Schreiber Roofing Corporation. Verbally informed my General Foreman of my injury,he denied me a referral, three medical notes from doctors. Informed my Union Operating Engineers local 324 of this and they stated that it was upon the company and how they treat you , they then told me to inform my union representative at Ford Field Stadium.
FYI, if Congress and the Senate are controlled by the Democrats with Obama as President, at the end of his term there will be 5 to 7 Liberal "legislate from the bench" judges on the Supreme Court. When he raises taxes, does not drill for domestic oil, does not allow nuclear plants, raises capitol gains, keeps the borders open, creates nationalized health care and does what Hugo Chavez did to the oil companies, the economy will be crushed. Union veterans will take the lead in energizing workers for the election.
Like all working people, veterans are worried about our future and our children's future. Our country is headed in the wrong direction. The first-ever Union Veterans Council will bring union veterans together across Colorado and the nation on the issues that matter most to veterans, our families and all working people. And we're starting by working to elect leaders who will put working people's concerns first.
I agree with Jim Wasser. But, also McCain is to damn old. And, that will be another 4 years of Bush's clone in office. On the top of it McCain hated Bush before but now it seems like to me that they are sleeping in the same bed. How is that? I don't want to vote for Obama but I am stuck. If someone else was on the ballot I would vote for them. How do you vote for the lesser of the evils when they are like bookends? It's a hard choice & I will be stuck with it for years.
Obama and McCain are as different as night and day. McCain has voted with Bush over 90 percent of the time. He is anti-union and anti-veteran no matter how much he shoots his mouth off that he isn't. The veterans groups except for neocon fronts like the Veterans for Freedom give McCain a 20 percent rating and Obama a 80 percent rating. There are also reason unions aren't backing McCain. I would put this information here, but YouTube limits your space.
I'm a combat DAV Vietnam. Union member and owned my own business. When I was a Union member, the attitude that I was taught by fellow Operators was "We must make the contractor money and we will keep our jobs". Today the attitude is "We must get as much as we can from the rich contractor or business owner." when Obama is elected and raises taxes, no oil drilling and social programs. It will crush the economy. I never received a raise from a poor employer. Mark my words Obama supporters. :)
Like you right wingers don't? I could rattle off the crap you righties call anyone that is not ins support of the worst President in the history of this country. Republicans run Congress for 12 years and the Oval office for almost 8 years and they have failed the normal Amercian and forced their efforts on enriching the top one percent.
Bush has already ruined the economy and McCain is more of the same owned by the same Neoconsertive group that gave us the Iraq war, hitorical decits in our treasury and our trade. The numbers don't lie no matter how much rhetoric people like you put up.
I am not a veteran but I am an IBEW member as well. McCain's war record doesn't automatically qualify him to be our next president. We need to support veterans like Jim Wasser and vote for someone who will work for working families. VOTE OBAMA.
This comes at a perfect time as McSame thinks that all the Vets are for him. I am not. His failure to support the new GI Bill was the icing on the cake. How could he let these young women and young men not get a better deal - the same deal that he could have accessed - but his silver-spoon life already had him get an education at government expense. His positions are in direct conflict for a better America. I hope everyone votes for Senator Obama.
I agree 100 per cent with Jim Wasser. I wouldn't even vote for John McCain if he was running for dog catcher let alone President of the United States. Just because he served during the Vietnam War doesn't mean he's qualified. It's obvious to me that he just wants to be another George W. Bush. Some Americans even write McBUSH for his last name.
The gentleman seemed to be concerned about Senator McCain's congressional record, however said nothing about Senator Obama's record. Which is absolutely nothing. The gentelman had better worry about the company Obama has kept in the past and the company he keeps today. Does he want Obama to be the Commander and Chief of the armed forces of this country with no experience whatsoever in that area.
Actually, Obama does have a senate record and I'm worried about it. Matt Gonzalez, Ralph Nader's running mate (I know, I know) takes a hard look at it here. But of course it's preferable to McCain's. Littleduc's tinfoil-hat ramblings might be better-suited to going after the friends that McCain's all-lobbyist campaign crew have made over the years. Much closer ties than you'll find investigating Obama donning native garb for a photo-op. Lesser of two evils in November. As usual.
Great video, Jim!
Thanks for continuing to fight the good fight!

Bravo! McCain is a slime-ball. He voted with Bush 95% of the time, not 90%. A vote for McCain is basically a vote for George Bush.
//no, random person on the internet, I will not have a political debate with you//
