I got my treatment partially subsidised by the Australian government, in total it cost me just over AU$1000. I fully agree that these braces are amazing - Ive had my front teeth wired up for just over a week now and am already seeing major improvements as they started pushing my teeth virtually straight away. They are also extremely comfortable to wear, i mostly forget about them except for when I am eating or brushing with them.

damn dude i'm an american and i had to pay in full. USD $4500. our insurance won't cover braces because they're cosmetic. Good for you though. I do agree with you about the quality though. Just wait 3 months you'll be fucking shocked on the improvement your teeth will make.

people are saying that in canada you guys are paying $8,500 for these. i got them free from the NHS in scotland & only had them on for 7 months. my teeth weren't too bad before but my teeth are gorgeous & straight now.

i got these yesterday, no it doesn't hurt at all, except you cant eat normally, just eat soft food, such as cream soup, anyway anyone here have overbite and age over 20? how long will it take to get it done? i really hope i could get it done in 1,5 years, my ortho said it'll take about 2 -3years, but she never really say about it clearly

i got these a week ago, they only put the top ones on, then 2 months later they put the bottoms ones on they are sore for about a week after you get them, but then its fine

i've had regular braces for about a year and a half now. And if this video is correct i am going to be ugly when i get older? Haha and if you get those damons you'll be a fine magnificent looking person. hahahahaha give me a break.

i've had braces once before (just on the front four teeth). i got them off about 3 1/2 years ago. tomorrow i'm getting braces again, but this time i'm getting the damon kind. anyway, i was wondering if the clearish-white part of the brackets will stain to not so appealing yellow?

Oh don't be scared. Damon Braces are NO big deal. Trust me- i've had them. It doesn't hurt at all when you get them on, but you might feel a little sore after a couple hours, but nothing excruciating. It depends on your case of how long it will take, but in most cases it can take up to 6 months.

I finally got them put on this morning. It's been about 12 hours and I'm not in any kind of pain. We'll see how I feel tomorrow though. Eating sure was weird, kind of impossible even with no pain. I can't tell what is what any more inside my mouth. They put weird blocks on my back molars to keep me from biting off my brackets.

I know what you mean about going out in public, I can't say they're any prettier than regular braces.

good luck. ive had them on now for 2 weeks. and it is much better now. i can eat alot better, but the food getting stuck on the braces is annoying. i havent seen any major changes yet, but im sure i will. Ive been out in public, and its not all that bad. youd be surprised at how many poeple have them.

It doesn't suck at all! I'm 26 and I got them almost 4 months ago and it's going great. There is no pain other than your teeth being tender when they put a new wire in - and that only lasts a couple of days. Such drastic changes already in such a short time! Good Luck!!!

I was hoping to see just the slightest bit of change after a month. It's been three weeks now and I can't tell any at all. I know it's gonna take a year and a half but I was hoping to see some kind of evidence of movement by now.

I have these and they are great I am keeping track of another lady who has braces and she has the older kind with the o ring and she has had 3 adjustments in the same amount of time that I have had one and evertime she complains about the pain

It appears that this system is for crowded teeth and not for the opposite where you have spaces between your teeth...

Anyone knows this for sure?

I believe these are the most effective way of fixing smiles. So I'm pretty sure that this can help with spacing also.
