@dls99 camaros were not junk at all in the 80's but after 92 they got ugly I have a 92 and it smokes mustangs and mustangs don't have T-tops 80's mustangs were total chick cars
Saw these guys at the Phone 3 Lounge in Richmond KY before they hit the bigtime then a few months later saw their video for Don't Treat Me Bad at a movie theater before a movie!! These guys are so awesome!!!!!!!!!
I was lucky to have been born in 68, so I got to hear 60s, 70s, 80s. After the early 90s, it really died down. Saw Firehouse the year they hit it big with Tesla. Seen Kiss a few dozen times in/out/in makeup, Ted Nugent, Skid Row, Slaughter...you name it. One year Was Skid Row opening, then Ted Nugent, then Kiss. Best entire night I have ever seen. First time I have seen the seats get filled for all 3 acts.
wow. this is still a good tune even though the band overall doesn't really stand the test of time too well. need my walkman to really enjoy this one. :)
god i wish i was born in my fathers generation. the music from the 80s 90s were amazing. now we have shit like the jonas brothers and justin bieber to grow up on. i want rock and the kick ass styles of cars back. this generation sucks.
it sounds so similar to round and round because both songs use suspensions in the main riff... in reality, the chords arent all that similar. and the progression is different...
However the song is in the same key and it's got a similar structure, like the bass thumping along the bass drum in the verse and the chord changes' rhytm in the chorus.
I must have been about 21...maybe 22 when I went and seen these dudes at a bar in Kansas City. They rocked the entire block! We must have got there at a good time because we managed to squeeze into the actual bar to see the party.
These guys were wailing hard, woman were bumping and grinding like sex was no object, and everyone was singing at the top of their lungs to the tunes. I've been to plenty of concerts, but that was by far the coolest experience. May the 80's forever rock on!
if today's music was actually like the 80s and 90s i wouldn't mind listening to it. i mean rise against and a day to remember aren't really doing it for me
many bands copy other bands songs and make there own riff out of it listen to the drums in kickstart my heart by motley crue then listen to ballroom blitz.if you pay close attention this happens in lots of songs
The opening riff sounds exactly like the round n round intro.... before you chastise me compare them. Round n Round was released in 84. This song in 91.
