@mosainagant It all depends on where you are in the world. It's Called Soccer in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA because different Football codes are more popular. It's also used as a nickname pretty much everywhere but Europe. It's recently become an excuse to hate on the USA for some reason.
