@prettypinkpanther123 I think the cigarette is a metaphor for something much bigger. Cigarettes are just one of the very small and insignificant things that she is still going to miss from her relationship. Wow, that sounded deep.. lol

I adore Amy, her voice is so raw and pure...

I think this song is about a relationship that has simply died out, they've hurt each other, loved each other and now they are growing apart. "One last taste to make it last forever" is saying that they are both playing along with the relationship as some kind of security blanket or something.
