ok northwestern is in a similar situation to minnesota. they are both located in densely populated areas such as the twin cities and chicago that host major sports teams in almost every major league sport there is while columbus as is every other big ten school is located in a collgge town where they are the only show. the ony reason that MN and NW are not able to sell out their stadiums is because the people living there prefer the pro sports more. plain and simple.

Well, Ohio is the state of football, so if you want to talk trash then I'd advise you to stick to what you know, which is hockey, a sport no one cares about. No rankings out there have MN higher than Ohio State, and judging by your inability to write in complete sentences or to form rational thoughts, my assessment of MN education is pretty right on.

actually texas is the state of football and minnesota has some of the best public schools in the nation, a lot better than ohio's so i wouldnt be talking. and beleive it or not, people in the north (farther than you up) actually care about hockey. i bet you that if ohio state suddnely became good at hockey you would go "oh yeah we love hockey in ohio."

You're simply wrong. There are more coaches in college football and the NFL that are either from Ohio or coached in Ohio than any other state, and it's not even close. The NFL Hall of Fame is in Ohio. Kirk Herbstreit (Ohio) hosts the Ohio vs. U.S.A. High School invitiational, and the best Ohio high schools continually go 0.500 against the best teams from the NATION, and have never lost to Texas. Nobody likes hockey...the NHL doesn't make any money...accept it.

Most likely the Cats fans who sold their tickets weren't going to come to the games anyway and thats why they sold their tickets to Buckeyes fans. The fact that those Cats fans selling their tickets weren't going to the game anyway means that your stadium wouldve been half full (like normal) without Buckeyes fans.
