Duck and his buddies at the Guitar Workshop helped me into a pretty permanent case of dislocated thumb. But it was tremendous fun in the process.

I can't play any guitar anymore, so be careful with practicing for too long. But if you take care it shouldn't cause any perfect damage.

When you can, don't use the thumb. Only use it when necessary.
