I remember the part when the monkeys get bigger and bigger and start beating their chests. Like 'Crossing the Bridge, 'Lines Cooperate,' and 'Share the Chair,' this shows how people (or other animals) who are about to 'duke it out' can settle down and negotiate (if they choose to!)
This comes to show that primates can be more advanced than humans. Most humans resort to using guns, filing lawsuits, and making nasty Facebook comments rather than compromising.
someone had a dial on the tv. i just cant remember who. but for a while there i was stuck with my family's old tv which had a row of buttons for the channels an knobs for the power, volume and picture. i had a stick for a remote. layin in bed, stabbin at the buttons. @pokinsmot I grew up with a dial on the TV too, and it was also a B/W TV. Believe it or not, my sister and I used to actually fight over who got to turn the dial that rotated the aerial on the roof because we liked to watch that thing clicking until the antenna got to where we'd turned it!
We didn't get color TV until I was 10, and we got cable installed at the same time. For some reason, I miss turning that aerial dial.
From 0:39-0:46, I wonder why the monkey/gorilla on the left was angry and beating his chest since his television show was on the channel he wanted. Unless maybe he thought the monkey/gorilla on the right was getting up off his seat to change the channel to his television show.
That is a very good point! I remember a joke about this reality being made on the short-lived series "Fired Up". Does anyone reading this remember that show? I enjoyed it. In my opinion, both Sharon Lawrence and Leah Remini are hot stuff!

If they had cable tv,repeats for both channels would not matter. I had Foxtel one time and I first thought it was a beuaty. But I got rid of it due to the fact they kept repeating the same shows.

Like Huckleubun says above "back in the day when you had to get up to change the channel!" Wow, kids today don't have records, don't use typewriters, don't manually change channels, and cash registers don't ring anymore! Times sure have changed since Ses St first came out!
Looks as if this animator also did a cartoon about a cat whose portrait was being painted; while the artist was away, the cat painted its own body to look like fiercer, bigger cat-species (I remember a tiger and a panther among them). When the painted cat frightened the real one by morphing into a lion and roaring, everything returned to normal. Does that clip ring any bells?

It would have made more sense if the Monkeys had been chimps, as chimps are more directly related to Gorillas.... but hey, it's a cartoon.
