why would they NOT sell a parent raised bird?

A parent raised lovebird would not be good pets because they are not familiar with humans as much as the hand raised. And also hand raised birds are more tame. I live in Ontario and over here they sell lovebirds for only $80.00

That's not true at all.

All my birds were parent raised and they were silly tame within a few weeks. All the chicks I have are also parent raised and are made tame very easily.

It may be 'easier' with a hand raised chick, but the resulting bird can be just as tame.

i live in puerto rico. white ringed love birds are only sold for $35 or less. blue masked like this one can cost about 40-50 bucks each

That's a beautiful bird. I'm thinking of getting a lovebird too, but I'm worried my neighbours will be angry with me.
