The best primer I ever used is that Monistat powder gel..... It works wonders and is a good price. Compare the contents, exactly the same. The cross polymer in both, that people seem to complain about, is in baby lotions and hair conditioner.

concerning the Vichy Dermablend foundation, do you think I would be 35 or 45? I am olive skin toned and can get pretty tan. Sometime NC 42. but I have very yellow undertones. I can't find anywhere what the undertones are of the different colors. thanks!

I love my primers also. Received a Loreal primer at the makeup show in Nyc...haven't tried it yet...now I"m bummed. I'll see how it works out for me anyway. But, an inexpensive primer that I do use pretty often, and I LOVE, surprisingly enough comes from Avon. It's called their Magix perfector. Love it. Try it, I think you'll be surprised to.

You should try the NYC bronzer in Sunny (720C) . It's matte so it looks a lot like the MUD bronzer you showed. My skintone is pretty similar to yours so I think it will suits you. That product really last a long time, I used it everyday for the past year and I didn't even hit pan (and I do use a lot of product). It's really cheap, like max 4 $ in Canada, and im sur you can find it for a lot cheaper in the US. Its really pigmented but its blends well. DulceCandy use it and love it too.

I can't wait to see your review on the Loreal primer. I have it and love it- it's the only thing that covers my huge pores. I use it on the little lines under my eyes also, and it works underneath and on top of my concealer. I know you didn't like it, but I can't wait to see why it didn't work and see if maybe we can help make it work for you.

omg you didnt like the loreal studio base!? are you nuts!!lol thats my favorite base. its thick and so soft and leaves my face looking flawless! too ad it didnt work out. a little goes a long way. i tend to use it in my 'imperfection' areas, mostly on my t-zone.

If you like Smashboxes primer GOSH's Velvet Touch primer is a great drugstore one. It is practically the exact same.You can get it over here in Ireland and most of Europe not sure about the states though.

Drugstore primer = Monistat anti chaffing gel. It's main ingredient is the same thing that most primers are made with.

Flamingo isn't Japanese. It's either Chinese or Taiwanese. I have looked all over the place and asked around here (Osaka, Japan), but no one has heard of Flamingo. FiberWig, however, is in every single drugstore and is very popular here (I love it).

Flamingo set is from China "火烈鸟" which is very well known by chinese. The one you have was an old version which they have now made so many great single mascaras! Never give you "panda eyes". by the same factory, there is another brand called charrming cat (this is how they spell it). if you like i can send you some :)

I love that L'Oreal face primer. It's the first primer I've ever used, but it evens out the surface my skin so nicely. Although I find it does tend to cake if you put too much on and you need to let it set a few minutes before applying foundation.

I LOVE that L'Oreal Perfecting Primer Base. My nose gets incredibly oily during hot weather so I wear that primer just over my nose and I have zero oil morning to night.

I also found that it worked great for smoothing over large pores and creating a more even finish.

I didn't like the primer on my cheeks or anywhere else, but it's great for an oily nose.
