ferrari is just rubbish.i have never heard of a ferrari that have gone more than 100000km before the engine is broke,and the clutch is also just crap.mercedes is luxury-power and quality , ferrari is just great sound and design
i have a 95600sl,and meaby i by a sl55 this summer,but i,am a mercede enthusiast and actually i like the old 600sl better and better.if i first should by a ferrari it had been a 360 spider.but this is a expensive car in norway.actually a 2004 sl65amg cost more in norway then a new slr in usa.even the 10 years old 600sl i have cost almost 100000$ in norway.and one thing more,if it had happend something with a ferrari in norway,its nobody who could fix it.the nearest ferrai dealer is in sweden.

sl65's sound looking like tractors haha. the most expensive tractor in the world by mercedes :P. sl65 more expensive than sl55 but sl55's sound more impressive than sl65. i love sl55. v8's sound always better than v12's.
V8 will never sound as good as a V12. Recorded the sl65 sounds bad but listening to it in real world during heavy acceleration - it is MUCH BETTER than any V8 that I have heard. But the sl65 is not the best sounding V12 - Vanquish S has the best sound. Now compare that to any V8 you want!!!

The 55 engine has one of the best sounding exhaust notes of all time. The 65 sounds like a freaking diesel truck.

@jebaki it's nice for example to have that truck sound at low revs on a big suv or a big sedan but not on a sport 2 seat convertible

The SL55 sounds nice, like a luxury speedboat, but the SL65 sounds totally awesome!!! Much louder and deeper, a bit like a truck. Hardcore!!!
