  • Very good but it is so difficult not to remember Sutherlands early recording of this aria which is just sublime

  • Very good!!! She has stunning sotto voce!!! I'm not so sure about her ornamentation at the end - some of the notes are a litle flat, and the penultimate top note (is it a G above top C?) is a little shrill. Still, wonderful to hear - beautiful voice and wonderful style!!!!

  • im guessing an F and i thought it was nice. But then agina I'm addicted to high ntoes....i sing them ALWAYS.

  • You're not the only one. I love high notes too. I always choose the high cadenzas. ;) I'm currently working on this piece. I love Rossini, but he unfortunately didn't write much for me. I'm a dramatic soprano/coloratura. So mostly Verdi for me, but I wont complain. ;)

  • :) cool! i'm working a little more in musical theter at the moment (i love both), and i'm also a coloratura. :D

  • An attempt at it, only Lucrezia Agujari in history has been recorded as hitting that note.

  • its an E, not a G

  • its an E

  • Ewa is amazing. She could sing baroque and bel canto style and her high notes are very strong.
