llol... their an english patch for Ys oath of felghana and YS the ark of naphistism. ys origin will be close to being completed... prolly sometimes before the year is over. Doppiapunta is the project manager look for it. just play the other and you should be good. Thx to nightwolfe .

Half way through the game. It's good shit. I hear tell that an english patch will be out before the end of 2009. I'm fortunate in that the walkthrough I'm using translates "to a degree" the main story points.

I'm tired of this crap, the damn japanese always want to keep all the best games for themselves. If they thought the audiences from the rest of the world didn't like the game or whatever (much like it happened in the 16 and 32 bit era where many jRPGs wouldn't get translated because they thought the rest of the world audience wouldn't like RPGs) because otherwise they should've never translated the other ones and leave us with half the story!

Atleast I know that is the reason why so many Gundam games aren't released outside of Japan, due to many whom holds the copyright to it. I agree with you though, it pisses me off to no end as well.

Ys is awesome game and I would like everyone in the world to enjoy the game but sadly its not translated. Luckily I was born Japanese.

aight to download the game just goggle Ys origin torrent and use bitTorrent to download it. then you have to download Applocale and then download the microsoft eastern langueage pack then switch your computer to japanese. but sorry i am afraid it is not in english but you don't really need to read the dialougeas anyways.
