It is pathetic you cannot see any good aircraft at air shows anywhere in the world anymore. The bleeding hearts and anti pollution left wingers bleephole people keep getting rid of the superb sounding air craft every year since 2000.
I bet it is the end of the vulcan. It needs £100.000 per month just to keep it in the air, and I notice it does not feature in the 2011 programme. Even the display it gave last year was tame compared to previous years, a whole lot quiter as well.
@rodjames98 I remember seeing air shows in 1972,1973,1976,and last in 1977 that featured the F-101 Voodoos,C-130 Hercules JATO demo, and RAF Vulcan Bomber all classic demos in one airshow. You will never see any of those demos in any air shows again. It will be sadly pathetic when the B1 Lancer Bomber will be the only aircraft that has any gut noise to it at any air show in the world after the Vulcan doesn't fly at airshows. The F-111 and Nimrod now.
Has i understand it the engines are from Concord. Back in the 60's 70's when it came hare the noise from the engines was teriffic and the loudness far far bigger than what we hear today. The ground used to shake.
