Noticed you brought up the Earthbound music issue, did you watch Roo from the Clan of the Grey Wolfs review as well or where did you get your info?

@cjszero01 I did, but that was a while ago, so i forget what was actually said in that review. I've looked up on the issue at several places, and there's just too many rumors and too much conjecture to really take any reasoning as to why it can't be released seriously.

@DavCube Well he brought up the music issue and showed other games that also felt inspired from other songs for their games (much like the Elecman stage theme but you knew that already). It's horrible that the only way to play Earthbound is to use a rom (no thanks) buy it online for around 100 bucks (sucks), or import Mother 1+2 for the GBA and learn to read Japanese. Oh yes I should also say something about the video, your commentary is fine but do you know that that noise is after you talk?

@cjszero01 I'm pretty sure that's just feedback i didn't expect. The microphone was pretty close in this one, but the effect wasn't this bad until i uploaded it. Until i upload something else, which i don't know, I just need to move things around to see if I can minimize that.

i think there are a few audio problems not sync but surround sound effects or it could be another problem with the laptop again

@adu0ng I think that was just the proximity of the microphone. Strange thing was, it didn't sound nearly as bad until i uploaded it here. I made a couple other test recordings after this one to see how far away i could put the mic, it seemed better in the raw file, but i can't fully tell until i upload something else.

It also might be the game in this instance. The collection definitely uses a different sound output than the original games, and i don't think i can change that.

@DavCube Still it's not your fault,. Mega Moan is probably one of the heardest titles you can choose to do a 'Let's Play all the way through' kind of video, I recon it will take you a couple of tries to get through it all. I trust the Anniversery Collection has a save feature I hope? :D

@David315842 It does. It's the castle stages that are hardest, though. If i didn't have the brain fart about the magnet beam, i probably would have gotten GutsMan done in this one, then i would have gotten the rest in a 'part 2' before defaulting to my memory card save for the rest. IF i didn't have the lag, that is.

@DavCube I didn't notice any lagging, but then you may have encounter some while playing during the recording process I'd imagine and yeah the Wily Castle levels should be the most challenging/difficult as it's towards the end, but heck theree's always the pause trick, once you get the magnet beam that is. :)

@David315842 It's not audio lag, it's overall video lag, so input from the controller is off. Look at how many times i just fall off the platforms at the start of the ElecMan stage. So i need a splitter so I can see it directly from the TV where there's no lag instead of the computer program that's busy doing stuff at once.

And about the pause trick, notice the menu at the end of this? That's brought up with the select button. So technically the pause trick doesn't exist in this version.

@DavCube Yeah I heard the Anniversery Collection has some issues with it. :D You also mentioned that you were playing on some kind of tiny screen as well, well that dosen't help when there are tons of little bullets to dodge about all the time, though you seemingly done well for the most part on this recording. By hopefully as you said a spitter should help if you can see on a standars screen which hopefully should elimanate any lagging. Here's hoping.

get a vcr or a modern tv with output and input component plugins. It's what I use.

@SStyle5 My TV is pretty recent, though. About two, three years old i think, but it doesn't have output ports. I didn't have LPs in mind when i got it, (Hell, i didn't even know of LPs at all at the time) so i didn't really care.

I do have a VCR though, so i may fiddle around with that.

@zengodnick It's not that i'm TRYING to be like them, i'm just trying to make interesting commentary instead of silence and i end up defaulting to some of their quirks sometimes. Hence why i sorta chewed myself out about it during the video.
