@lionellogan Yes, absolutely. :) the 6 extra strings are the same notes as the usual, just an octave higher. Like: E e A a D d G g B b E e

In fact, usually the treble strings are twinned in the same octave.

Washburn's website currently lists Buzz Feiten Tuning System as a standard feature on the D46S12, but my new D46S12 came with only a normal nut. It could sure use the help intonating correctly! Beautiful tone, though. Nice woods, though some models will show more quilt than others.

I recently Installed a Martin Thinline 332 Plus Acoustic Pickup System on it. It sounds awesome both plugged in and acoustic.

I ended up getting the D46SCE12, and IM very happy with it! Great sound, and very beautiful guitar. I would love to put a pickguard on it just to see wat that would look like..GREAT GUITAR!

I bought the acoustic verson, with a acoustic guitar pickup. i don't think u should put a pick-guard on it. it would ruin those gorgeous looks.
