Not sure if the money gained by the hotels where everyone stayed, the plane tickets and all what the outsiders purchased while in TNT was enough to justify what was spent to host the summit. However, it did put small TNT on the map for something positive. When China hosted the olympics it was the same thing their pollution crisis was outrageous. It happens everywhere around the world. There are tons of people out there who see the advantages of inviting and only clean up when they're arriving.

I am an American born (both parents Trini's) and have been visiting TNT for the past couple of years. Even as an American I am SO PROUD to say that I am a TRINI. I think your initiatives in bringing awareness to issues you see as "problem" is good. I call it problems because obviously there has to be a solution. If there is not a solution then all it is... is complaining. The fact that Trinidad is now known for something other than Carnival, partying, drinking & crime makes me feel good.

Technically we are all hypocrites, because i'm sure we all have put aside money to host some event, or by some thing that was not necessary at the time. Plus we have known for two years that we were going to host these summits and no one objected, we sat back and let it happen and guess what the commonwealth heads summit is going to come and go just like this summit

good job i enjoy all your videos, but i have some food for thought i agree gov't shud not have spent all the money but let's say 2 years ago when they got the nod to host the summit 'when money was plenty' and they decided to put aside 1 billion dollars in a bank account (similar to how we trinis put aside thousands to host our christmas parties, carnival costumes etc) , then the money they are using now is from the fund they set aside. so they budgeted for the summit What do you think?
