There are lot of interesting pre-1935 or pre-Hayes-office censorship films from the early thirties. Check out the "lesbians" in the background in 1934's "Cleopatra." And do NOT forget one of the most disturbing films ever made - which is 1932's "Freaks." You can find it on Youtube. Its forever shocking. Gave me nightmares when I was college age. But, man, Maureen O'Sullivan's beauty is timeless.
Amazing footage -- and incredible that this goes on for 3 minutes. As though they were making a stag film version for adults only. This was by far the sexiest Tarzan film. Another great scene shows a lusty Tarzan grabbing Jane and we just see her limp hand drop a flower which floats down the river. A suggestive yet elegant transition.
OMG -- I can't believe that this played in the theatres back then. So, when this aired on TV, and I can't say I saw THIS film but I have seen several old Tarzan films, so were the TV broadcasts edited or these scenes were aired on early TV programming?

She was one smokin hot lady. I'm surprised this got past the censors.
