ALL BULLYS DO THIS,AS WITH ANY EXERCISE FOR A DOG,ITS FINE AS LONG AS ITS IN MODERATION!! IF IT BECOMES OBSESSIVE,ITS BEST TO TRY AND CURTAIL THE HUCKLEBUTT,BUT ITS THEIR WAY A SAYING THEY ARE HAPPY AND HAVING FUN!!!A TRUELLY HAPPY BULLY CANT HELP BUT BUST OUT A 360!!! I LOVE RIDING DIRT BIKES TO THE POINT THAT IM KINDA OCD ON IT,AND SOMETIMES I EVEN HURT MYSELF WHILE HAVING MY FUN!!! SHOULD I BE TAUGHT NOT TO DO WHAT I TRUELLY LOVE? OF COURSE NOT!!
Thank you for the lovely comments. Jake was about 3 and a half on this video. It was never through lack of exercise that he would so this as he'd do this after a good walk and play. He is such a great dog and the most loving and lazy one I have ever come across.
I dont think this is a tail issue, i think its just a bull terrier thing, Ive seen many BTs doing this turning/spinning, it seems to be their way of expressing joy! I love it :) wonderful to watch animals being happy :)
While this is cute and funny, its generally not encouraged as it can cause and lead to other problems in your pup, not saying it will develop but it increases the odds of tail mutilation, and other OCD issues.
I've got a beautiful Bully myself and i hate that i can't laugh at his antics i usually just squirt him with a water bottle or keep him too tired to Hucklebutt ;)
i have 2 bullie x staffies 8 years old and 8 months old they both love chasing their tails for a few seconds, normally if one starts the other does. they are the best dogs more ebt than sbt, so loving and fun, never aggresive and never stop playing. you cant get a better type of dog
English bullies are the best dog on the planet. I had 1 30 yrs ago and i haven't seen or had a better dog. He was super smart, tough as nails, great guard dog even though he was good with ppl and just an all round joy to own. He was a bit of a fighter so couldn't be let off the lead around other animals but i used to live in an isloated spot so no problem letting him loose there. I always think of him still till this day, i miss that dog so much
@ooperdooper4 Have you ever owned a dog? By this comment it sounds like you don't understand dogs. most active terrier dogs and most dogs for that matter get excited and want to play. Thats all this is, OCD give it a break, don't try and stick human ailments to dogs, dogs don't have that tendency, it's just playing and happy. My lab does this after dinner, when he's ready for a play fight, it's just communication, the dog is happy thats all
@timHYPERLITE Of course it is, i grew up from the 60s and i never knew anyone with these so called ailments. It's a fraud, it's a con job by drug manufacturers, that whole business is a scam. If you have kids and have them on these bs drugs like ritalin etc ditch those meds in the bin and attend to your childs diet and discipline, this is where the problem lies
@73mandala just something i learned about bull terriers, chill the fuck out. i obviously love dogs and especially this breed, hence the fact i was watching bull terrier videos.
@73mandala I was stoned watching animal planet one day and heard it, so fuck off man i'll leave a fucking comment saying whatever the fuck i want ya damn troll.
"God loves a terrier yes he does God loves a terrier that's because brown sturdy bright and true they give their hearts to you God didn't miss a stitch be it dog or be it bitch when he made the English Bull merrier with his cute little 'derrier' yes God loves a terrier!"
+1 hucklebutt ! this is a trait of the ebt breeding . they were used to chase rats and other small animals out of warehouses . they had to be quick and agile to perform their job . this kind of play was encouraged to the point that in became one of their funniest instincts
Bully's are powerful dogs!.... the spinning means they are excited to be with you at last.... they want your attention and too keep it they spin to say LOOK AT ME!
OMG I miss my Bully so much! When I was in high school and I would come home he would go crazy like this! He always did back flips, it was the most amazing thing! I wish I had a video of that!
he is a gorgeous bullie

foltano 8 months ago
@foltano No it isn't!
maidofthenorth 7 months ago
@maidofthenorth What part of it isn't annoying? It shouldn;t be encouraged either because it is a neurological disorder.
