In my studio, students learn the bow hold very quickly using the Bow Hold Buddies[tm] bow accessory. The accessory keeps the hand relaxed and fingers in place while we learn more music.

Fantastic lesson!

Practicing this got rid of practically all of my bow bouncing issues. I have amazing confidence with my bow now and I feel like my technique is reliable. I can play long singing notes at any bow speed with such ease!
