@ghfdfhfdndxhcg Disney are wimps. Tatsunoko have the guts to show violence and abuse. This is what the real Pinocchio was like in the book. This is MUCH closer to the book than the Disney version was.

Yes, it sucks, Pinocchio also sounds like a girl in that version. And for the last time, I was not being selfish, I'm just so upset that I lost two of my three tapes of this show and I was taking it out on JBHutto. It was wrong of me to do so, and I know better than that, but most of the time I let my anger get the better of me. You don't understand.

Yeah. And by the way, that's one thing about the series that pissed me off, Pinocchio's not often seen with his friends from school because he's always getting sidetracked by that fox, weasel, and mouse.

I remember this show by heart, but the strange thing is, I've never seen it on television before, only on my three tapes. So the only episodes I've grown up with were the first four, the poppy witch episode, treasure hunt, miracle doctor, money tree, oak tree, the stork prince, the two-part violin episode, and the ending of the series finale. It wasn't until I've first heard of youtube that I've seen the episodes that weren't on my tapes, but they were either in Portuguese or Italian.

"I hope this little adventure has taught you a lesson, Pinocchio!" That stupid cricket is always making him feel bad. He was just born the other night, it's not as if he knows any better! Besides, it was really Franko's fault, he brought the puppet master out to show Pinocchio and had him sold!

Thats the entire point of the story; Pinocchio needs to learn to behave himself, even if it's through all this humilation and suffering. It's probably one of the darkest cartoons out there.

Did you know they actually made a movie sequel to this Pinocchio two years ago? It's actually a combination of Disney and Tatsunoko's version. It's called "Welcome Back Pinocchio", but if you do a youtube search for "Pinokyo: Yeni Macera", you can watch the trailer for it.
