  • do ju need 2 plug in jur psp 2 power it up? as if ju were charging it?

  • nah u dont have to but u can if u want to

  • nice vid and all but if ur dowing a psp vid and showing som one ur system software cover up the mac address poeple well try to hack it if u dont cover it up

  • ah no worries this vid is super old and I don't have that psp anymore. I also haven't had any problems :D so np but thanks incase I do another vid

  • i made a pandora battery and power button is on but the other side doesnt flash what do i do

  • Are you using a slim or fat psp?

  • what i have to put on magic memory stick.

  • look at my other video :D

  • I have a quesstion though. After you finished installing the firmware, do you put back your regular battery and regular memory stick?

  • yes ur regular battery but the stick can be the same

  • Hahah! nah it was my roomate making egg :p

Platanos hahaa funny but they are soo yummy

  • um buy one steal one or borrow one

  • Well you won't be able to power it back on with a pandoras battery :( so yeah you do need an extra

  • I haven't found a good video in how to copy firmware on the memory stick. a link would be greatly appreciated. and one where it shows how to make a pandora battery.

  • I have a mms video check out my channel. I don't have a pandora video and sorry but i cant find a good one for a beginner some are complicated

  • in other vids they say that you have to hold the L button wile turning on the psp with the pandora.... do you really have to hold the button? and do you have to have the firmware on the magic stick(although I think so)? and after that...how do you play psp games without those psp cds? and do you have to install a firmware (v. 3,70 M33) and then update it? can't you just install the 4.01 version? I'm new with the psp so sorry for odd questions

  • Np with the questions. You don't have to hold the L button down but if it makes you feel better then do it :). When you create a magic memory stick it will have the custom firmware. psp games can be downloaded from websites in ISO or CSO mode and put on your memory stick in the ISO folder. And no you don't have to put 3.70 and update...you can get the 4.01 version. I did this video when the 3.70 version was still new

  • thanks for the reply. Cheers!

  • No problem dood :)

if you need further help feel free to send me a comment

  • using a slim psp or fat?

  • thanks i will do it today

  • my version is 5.02 do i have to down grade

  • This will automatically downgrade you when you put the mms and battery in

  • lol i just got one or two more questions is the pandora battery suppose to be feel charged becuz when it turns on all it goes to is the main screen duznt go black wif white letters at all

  • nvm

  • Actually I do recommend charging the battery to at least 90% before cutting it open and turning it to a pandoras battery

    Take me for an example

I charged mine then made a pandoras out of it then a couple months later I tried using it again to hack a psp but I couldn't since I guess it ran out of power so I had to make another..

  • lol i found out my problem i had to hold the up button b4 and during when the pandora was being put in except it wuz a different screen it wuz actually some selection screen btw sorry for all the questions

  • Oh no problem really I don't mind

  • if i put doom on my cfw psp will it brock the psp

  • i mean brick*

  • No I don't believe so. Unless people say it bricks your psp then I suggest not to put it on

But I haven't tried it out. I haven't had a single game brick my psp

  • thank you

  • No problem :D

  • i just have one more question will cfw itself brick my psp in anyway and i mean not just the battery but the updates as well

  • This has never happened to me and I haven't heard of any1 who had that issue. Most bricks occur when people try to put an emulator that might not work. Anyways if your psp does get bricked you can always put in the pandoras and magic memory stick and it will go back to normal. I tried that method on my friends psp

  • thanx man imma sub u since u been so helpful

  • nvm i allready subbed lol

  • Lol thanks for subbing and thanks for your comments :D

  • lol no problem but back to gh i go peace

  • i need major help, i have the downloads to convert my battery into a pandoras battery, i just need the firmware, and i have the downloads for the card (i have a 1gb) which order and what way should i do it?

  • No no no

Okay first off you don't need downloads for your battery

All you need is a regular fat psp battery cut it open cut the CO4 pin(right bottom corner)

download the file in the description

do as I did in the video to make the memory stick

Put your battery in your psp then the magic memory stick and go on from there

  • Have you ever used the GBA emulator mh gpspkai, if you have could you help out. How do you put cheats in it, will any old action replay codes work? and if so how? I tried just make a word a document for each code and putting it in the CHT file, but that hasn't worked. If I need specific cheats how and where do I get them?

  • Oh no I never used emulators

sometimes they can brick your psp

  • Do you know of any homebrew that increases wifi range? I tried the Wifi Sniffer, but that didn't work plus it is for OFW 1.50, so it probably just finds wifi.

  • No I do not sorry bro

  • Thats ok, I actually found a pretty cool homebrew the other day, it makes your PSP a universal remote, but it doesn't quite work with time machine and I'm not gonna try to down grade again.

  • Sorry the update took so long.

  • Alright that worked, my system settings says I have 5.01 OFW (no M33-x after it) and I can play ISOs and homebrew again. I can make a video with my cell if you would like to see me playing an ISO with 5.01 OFW (again its not really OFW, but there is no m33-x).

  • Sure, make it as a response to this vid

  • hey I only have one pandoras battery and no other normal battery but can I still play my

psp using only the charger and no battery.

  • Yeah that works :)

  • I have not tried this yet, because I am still putting my backup into my memory card, but once I have done this I will tell you if it works.

  • Oh okay no problem

  • 1. Run the 5.00 M33 installer and stop when it prompts you to press X to start SCE Updater, R to exit 2. Take out the memory stick 3. Download the official 5.01 update data 4. Rename the 5.01 update (UPDATE.PBP) to 500.pbp 5. Paste it to "X:PSPGAMEUPDATE" and overwrite the original (real) 500.pbp 6. Pop the MS card back in and continue

    This Will Give You 5.01m33

From The Beginning Of The SCE Updater, It Will Say

    PSP System Software

    Version 5.01

    Start

  • By the way, for anyone else looking to get an unofficial update to 5.01 m33 (since dax hasn't made one yet), so that you can use the PSN store (which is weird of you to be buying games with CFW) here are six simple steps. You must have CFW 5.00 m33-2 or lower (believe it might be 4.01 m33-x or lower)

  • Two more things.

    1. My PB is no longer a time machine so you will have to re download the files (I still have them on my memory card backup).

    2. You should always backup your memory card if you are trying to go from CFW to OFW, luckily I already backed up all four gigs, because I was trying to downgrade my CFW, but even if you aren't going to format your memory stick you should still do that.

  • No problem thanks for the help.

  • Ok this is awesome, rains MMS maker actually worked for me for the first time (I suspect it is because my battery was a timemachine battery), and I now have 4.01 CFW going for 5.01 M33-3 Unofficial CFW. Rains MMS maker is great. I'm not trying to knock yours, which is easier to use and comes with all of the necessary files. But if someone finds them self in the same predicament as me, use rains MMS maker, it actually showed a menu on my PSP too (its a slim, thats why I mentioned the screen).

  • Oh that's great

thats some great info for the others

    thanks for posting

  • OK, rains MMS maker should make it a normal battery to, if that doesn;t work.

  • Damn, but I will still be able to use my TM PB as a normal battery right? I'm gonna wait until I try with rains MMS maker, to see if that works but then I guess Ill cut my good battery open.

  • Yes I believe so.

  • That was a last comment was a reply to this "You're trying to charge a Pandora's battery?

I don't think you can do that"

  • I installed 5.01 OFW because i wanted to re-downgrade to and get 5.01 CFW (since I already had 5.00 m33-3, I needed to get a lower version and this was the easiest way). But my PB is a time machine battery, is it gonna be possible for me to re-get CFW or do I have to cut open my other battery to? I am using a PSP slim. and so far I haven't made it past a few orange blinks on the memory light before my PSP turns off (with the PB, the other battery works fine). If I can go back to CFW how?

  • I think you would have to cut open your battery.

  • can I change my original battery into a pandora battery

  • Yep. Thats exactly what you have to do :)

there are videos showing you how to do it

look at a lot of them to make sure you fully understand because it is risky

  • why do you need apandora battery

  • thats the only way to hack it

  • whats wrong my lights wont flash

  • whats wring my lights wont flash

  • You're trying to charge a pandoras battery?

I don't think you can do that

  • If it has been semi restored using the time machine or Rains MMS maker (which has failed at making MMS's for me, but returned my battery to normal).

  • would this work on a slim psp

  • yes :D

If you are doing this on a slim psp the screen stays black you don't see text like in the video

All you have to do is put the stick in then the battery wait about 20 seconds then press X then wait about 1 minute and you will see the flashing orange light and that means its working so leave that alone wait about 2 minutes and press X again it should be done

On the slim you dont see the text but it does work

    hope I helped

  • and a last thing and i leave u alone afer i subscribe and rate !!! now thats the hacking is completely over must start the psp with a new battery??? not pandora?? or it works with this one as well??

  • Haha umm you have to use a regular battery now

    not the pandoras

Btw when you reboot with regular battery go to system information and look for the version it should say M33 :)

  • i download games and it seems to start but after tha Psp portable icon with the sound it says game could not be started(80022032) and can i put a regular disc game anymore and play or will this change my firmware?

  • Okok press Select after your psp boots and it should pop up a menu and go down where it says UMD ISO MOUNT and change it from w/e it is to M33 driver

yes you will be able to play from discs still

  • for how long should i leave it like this?? and after that will i have a custom firmware and will i be able to download games??

  • All you have to do is put the stick in then the battery wait about 20 seconds then press X then wait about 1 minute and you will see the flashing orange light and that means its working so leave that alone

then after another minute press X and it should be done

and yes you will be able to download games

  • i think it is a fat cause it says somewhere system fat32 at that black window and apart from that my menu is right-left up and down all sides

  • Nah is it fat or slim? the fat ones are heavier the slim ones barely came out

  • i am done with the magic memory stick but now that i put in the card and the battery the screen has softly been lightened the left little lamps turned on for a while but i can't see any letters when i puss buttons the left lights turn on for a while but still no letters

  • Are you using a slim?

  • If you are doing this on a slim psp so thats ok that the screen is black

All you have to do is put the stick in then the battery wait about 20 seconds then press X then wait about 1 minute and you will see the flashing orange light and that means its working so leave that alone

On the slim you dont see the text but it does work

    hope I helped
