  • this and curse of the castle dragon are currently my two favorite songs.

  • Feels so boss when walking down the road and this song pops up on your ipod...

  • It's either the soundtrack for a buddy cop movie or some porn

  • Fuck Paul for doing this awesome song.

  • You know what i do when this song ends ? I play it again....

    Paul Gilbert created Time Loop.

  • I am kind of sad that Paul can't play some of these charts live for some reason.

  • @trinoply

He can. But he dont do it. But, he can !

  • @trinoply He's got too many good songs to play. that's reality.

  • This is Paul Gilbert's elevator music.

  • I can't stop listening to the first five seconds over and over again

  • the guy who disliked this had to be obama hes the only person that would do such a thing

  • When it comes to guitar, Gilbert's rhythm is second to none!

  • My favorite part was when I found out there were other videos on the side about Paul Gilbert! =O

    Woah

  • the best !!!!!!!!!!!!! paul gilbert.

  • Paul is like, the ultimate riff maker. You listen to any piece of his music, especially on this album, and it is so perfectly put together. Each section is strung together perfectly with killer riff after killer riff. Every little detail perfectly, and deliberately adjusted. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the business of making music, not money. With Paul, it comes right from the soul. Keep on kickin' ass Senor Gilberto, you are a hero to so many of us

  • 1 person likes this song at 4:15, what a fucking dickwad

  • ....paul gilbert is the best ...point blank period

  • Paul most likely translated it as motorcycle on Saturn, in other words the song is suppose to depict him riding a motorcycle on the rings of Saturn, being that we are talking about Paul Gilbert it makes perfect sense.

  • @acdcislaw He said it an actual Spanish motorcycle model, Bultaco being the brand and Saturno being the model.

  • Paul Gilbert-A true modern day artist!

  • imo paul's tone got from great to greater with his switch to the vintage modern

    rock on paul!

  • holy damn monkey nuts this is awesomme!! id give my soul to play like him hahah

in comparison to him, my songs cant even be counted as songs :(

  • this song is fuckin awesome

  • now this is what i call a funky guitarist with funky ideas!!!!go paul!!!!

  • This song is the bomb!

  • It's damn groovy.

  • i remember the first time i heard this song i was going through all the songs on the cd, and i thought the begining sucked so i skipped over it.

now i cant stop listening to it!

  • @shanesreallycool SAME HERE, love this song. specially learning how to play it. its sooo fun to play. waaay better than listening to it!

  • Eudaimonia is probably my favorite off this album but this song is wonderful.

  • Whoa shit, this is fucking great!! He suprised me again and again...

  • very creative..such a genius

  • What is the best song on this album?

  • Im gonna hafta go with The Gargoyle, very awesome and Maidenlike

  • @xXlopoXx Norwegian Cowbell.

  • im gonna go with Bultaco saturno, but then again Eudaimonia overture also kicks ass

  • My favourite part was from 0:00 to 4:14

  • lol :D

  • no, my favorite part was 0:00 to 4:13 because at 4:14 it ends :(

  • @Fluffypopcicle

    yeah :P I guess you're right..

I'm suprised thre aren't more fans of this style of music - "Guitar Virtuoso"

Then again, there is always a minority of intelligent people in the world, so it stands to reason...

    ;) lol

  • @neilcaraher Mine was 0:00 to 4:15

  • @neilcaraher yeah but 4:15 sucks ass

  • @neilcaraher

    I fucking hated that part. 4:14 - 4:15 is where it's at!

  • @neilcaraher Yeah, the last second really sucks

  • 2:57 best guitar scream ever.

  • Gilbert is Bad ass!! Bought this CD not too long ago. Pretty much everything rocks.....if it starts slow give it a minute :)

  • Silence Followed By a Deafening Roar

  • I love tacos

  • agreed

  • he has the perfect sound here

think this song is best of him so far

  • @jeroenguitar i personally like paul vs godzilla the best

  • seriously this should play every time i enter a room. that would be so tasty.

  • The song's great and all, but something confuses me. Last I checked, neither bultaco, saturno, or eudaimonia were words (though spellcheck says eudeimonia is a word occasionally), how does he think of them?

Of course it doesn't matter what the name is, as long as I can listen to it and enjoy.

  • A Bultaco Saturno is a type of Spanish? motorcycle and eudaimonia just means extreme happiness.

  • Who cares what it's called! If Paul Gilbert was to release a shred fest called Ball Sack...LOL I would rock it and listen!

  • you sir, have made my day

  • Eudaimonia was the name of the studio - doesn't mean anything!

  • Actually, on Wikipedia, it says eudaimonia (eudemonia) is a state of happiness, the best possible for a human, but you could be right as well.

It also says Bultaco is a type of (?Spanish?) motorcycle, and Saturno is a Roman hat.

Strange, but who really cares? As long as it's good music.

  • @PGspeed88 Saturno it's a panet..

  • @ArmTheHomelessTerra

Not according to Wikipedia, though it is named from the reminiscent look of the planet. I do have a theory on why Paul used it in the title, it says Paul VI overruled the use of the hat by anyone except clergymen. I don't know where bultaco (the motorcycle) part came from.

  • @PGspeed88 Umm actually Saturno is Saturn in spanish which is one of our solar system planets (Stating the obvious) but it also has lots of meanings and who really cares, Paul is the amazing thing in here

  • que temasoooooooooo

  • This song plays right when i start up my car and right before i get a speeding ticket.

  • Yeah! this is the best

  • jeah

  • de una paul gilbert es el mejor del mundo

  • hace una parte al principio parecidisima a los punteos de satriani y al el le sale re groso mas todavia aguante paul the best of the word

  • I wish every time i stood up this song would start

  • @UltimateKyle281

    r.u A.D.D. ?

    COOL COMMENT

  • @UltimateKyle281 when i read that, i stood up, and your so right it was awsome.

  • Die in pain!

  • can anyone get me Paul Gilbert Tabs that arent on guitar pro ?? Really want to learn this

  • check out ultimate-guitar.. :)

  • download tuxguitar off the website, it opens guitar pro files + is free

  • even though its Paul Gilbert, try your ear ;)

  • holy crapopolis Paul Gilbert really knows know to whip out crazy, tasty ear candy.

  • for me paul gilbert is the best guitarist!...

    GO PAUL

  • Wow! Talk about rapid evolution of an artist. Paul has always had chops in spades, but at times his music sounded more like an exercise than something you could stomp your foot to. This is coming from a PG fan. However, once he got the cahones to release the all instrumental album "Get out of my yard" it's like the flood gates opened, and a better more complete artist emerged. This entire CD oozes confidence and maturity, and I can't wait for his next release. Awesome stuff!

  • Totally agree 100%

  • He realised that stopping singing on his album was the way forward lol

he said that himself, and i agree!

    virtuoso all the way!

  • Actually, Paul plans to do a few vocal albums after this - Racer X and Mr.Big have gotten back together. Mr.Big was almost 100% vocals, and Racer X does have vocals on quite a few songs.

  • Actually what? I didn't say he was never gonna sing again, I quoted the man himself!

Also he may be doing Racer X and Mr.Big again, but that says nothing for his solo career, which is probably going to be instrumental only.

  • Dunno what about you, but I find his singing quite cool actually P=

It can't match his awesome guitars skills of course though, PG is awesome!~ =P

  • it's awesome they got back together. Love all of Pauls music.

  • this song rules... gilbert is the man

  • Paul Gilbert is the way.

  • agreed

    ; )

    The N.I.

  • Bultaco Saturno 200 is an old Spanish motorbike from the 70s. I read somewhere that Paul´s dad had one, and Paul remembers it on this song. Nowadays its a bizarre bike even here in Spain. Greetings.

  • that interesting little tidbit had just made my day, thank you so much

  • this song is kickass beyond beleif!

that said, wtf does bultaco saturno even mean?

  • ok, so this might sound like a really stupid question but im gonna take the risk of sounding like a total dumbass.

    in the description it says emi's playing B3 and piano....whats a B3

  • totally fair, its obscure indeed...the hammond b3 organ...i think u can hear it on whiter shade of pale and stuff like that

  • ahhhh ok thanks man.

  • good luck jon

  • i think i know what the title means, saturated bull taco!

The guitar does kinda sound like a giant bull walkig through town, but in a good way!

  • AMAZING SONG!! But whats up with all the hatred for Sir Satriani, you have to admit it does have a groovy feel you can find in some satch, but one things for sure it makes you move. Just shows PG's versatility though XD

    -Xander

  • richie kotzen?? paul was there before than richie in mr.big...

  • But that has nothing to do with the person's comment, Richie Kotzen is indeed a wonderful guitarist and some of his stuff has this groovy feel to it, is the point of stated comment.

    -Xander

  • yeah, paul is fuckin original

  • man paul is definitely a very unique guitarist

  • This song actually reminds Richie Kotzen style of playing, especially the intro riff - it sounds like the intro of "I Can Make You Happy" from Kotzen's Slow in the beginning.

But all in all - amazing album by Paul!!

  • This song has a very unique sound, don't you think?

  • Awesome. Very Satchy sounding to me.

  • catchy intro! and sometimes I can hear some jimi hendrix in it. great song

  • My fav so far!!! just so catchy

  • He played this at Bournemouth with Satriani...one of the best tracks on the album and on the night!

  • Just got this album today. I have to say the whole thing shreads from start to finish. Unbelievable. I've listened to Paul since Racer X, and this is some of his best work. I probably wouldn't be able to play as well as I do without Paul Gilbert. Not only is he a shreadmeister, but a great teacher as well. Find any lesson by Paul and yor playing will improve overnight. Crank it up!

  • The F Minor Pentatonic intro is so awsome!!=) Im getting this record in a week x)

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • Paulie rules, end of

  • This song rocks! Man the solo kicks major ass..

  • Hello All,

Can anyone tell me why the title of this clip is "Bultaco Saturno" ?? Bultaco is the name of a very famous brand of motorcycles that were made in Barcelona, Spain from 1958 to about 1982.

    Thanks, Doug,

    Ashland, Oregon

  • It's the name of the song. By Paul Gilbert.

    E-mail Paul, maybe he'll tell ya. :D

  • Because that's the name of the song...

You'll have to ask Paul why he dubbed it that way

  • Bultaco Saturno is the name of a motorcycle

Maybe Paul is connecting the bike's speediness into his song

  • its like the motorcycle song by satch

  • Paul rules all!! Got my tix for House of Blues in May and just can't wait!!

  • you lucky man. I wish I lived near california :(

  • haha me too! cant wait for may 7th!

  • FUCK!! BILLY AND PAT PLAYED WITH PAUL THER!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

and u all people from USa that complain that you are not near the place at least youre in the country!!

I'm in argfeentina!!! If i had been u i would have travelled for that show :S:S:S

  • haha i did go to that show

it was amazing! i was first in line and i stood right in the middle right in the front row which was right in front of paul gilbert! haha i was like 5 feet away from him...it was awesome!

  • i was probably right next to you then

  • maybe

paul threw the first pick of the entire tour right at me and my friend....its gay that he got it instead of me though...

  • yea, i think i saw that. my homie caught one of the drum sticks at the end. Sick concert. He played all the songs I wanted him to.

  • love this song. it gets stuck in your head all day when you hear it. very bluesy. 5 stars, ROCK ON PAUL!!!

  • the riff for this song and Bronx 1971 is sort of similar...i love both of them though, they take the same ideas into completely different directions.

  • 2:40 to 2:50 really breathtaking. rock on paul..

  • reminds me of down to mexico..damn..PG FOR LIFE!

  • Best part is the solo at 2:59, this album is absolutely epic!

  • paul should have started releasing all instrumental albums a long time ago

  • Paul just keeps coming up with amazing tunes in all these keys! I love every single song I hear him play. A great inspiration, I will definatley buy the CD !!!

  • fucking. awesome.

  • TUNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. To be honest like every other song on the album.

  • damn groovy! love it!!

  • This is for sure the greatest song of this album but I think than I love = Bronx 1971 and Wow Paul is just so good in his instrumental albums!

  • this is my favorite song of the album.... so many different feels throughout it and paul continues to amaze me with his playing

  • I like the vibe of this song !!
