@drefinco1 i am one of the critics that u ignore. I used to love Carlos & i still enjoy certain things by him for instance, Buddy Miles, Carlos, & Neil Schon at Diamond Head Crater was good. Abraxis is good. Woodstock & their first album w/ Mike Shrieve is good. Carlos never played what he learned from Bloomer. What an idiot. Also if someone doesn't say what you want to hear, doesn't matter anyway. It is an opinion if i think he is good or not. It is a fact he didn't play what Mike taught him.

@drefinco1 This has always been and will always b one of my favorite songs. Not just by this group, but my favorite in the genre of music. This version of the song is my favorite version too of course. I personally think that Carlos is not God, just like no living human being is God. We don't come close no matter if u r John McLaughin on guitar. That's what i hate most is calling people more than necessary when we could say he is good or fantastic. Art is subjective and i can b obsessive. Peace.

Or do you play it on your acoustic to a jam track, cuz no one would just play the song without the bass in the background and the rhythm as well, it would sound like shit. Or maybe you play it with a band but then your acoustic would most likely get drowned out so that is hard to believe as well.
