@TriuneApostolic I do not believe in counting numbers, I allow God to do that, its for his Glory anyhow, however you should be happy someone says 700+ recieved the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, are even that 700+ have the Holy Ghost. Rather than sit on the internet making petty negative arguments come about.

i was there =]] and thats where i got the holy ghost =]], october 4th 2009 my life has changed so much and i have a greater love for jesus all i can say is it was just an amazing night, i wanna go again =]]

I was UPCI for 2.5 years, which means I was holy ghost filled for that long. Although, the holy ghost filling is a powerful experience, and although it does feel like the tongues just happens without you making it happen, there are much better explanations for that experience that what the church offers. But it doesn't really matter. In the end, it only matters that you don't cause suffering to any living thing. I am an atheist. Thank you for reading this.

@PunkApostle Of having doctrine that is contrary to the Bible. UPCI since the 1920's have allowed women Elders and Pastors. Also, they will not let Jesus Preach because He has a beard.

oh well if they have women elders, women have opinions and can recieve gods word just as easily as men. although the beard standard is still here, alot of churches are allowing it

@PunkApostle The Word of God is quite specific that only men are to be Elders. What you are talking about is rebellion which is the same as witchcraft. And no UPCI "Pastor" that I know of has a beard. Sure they may "allow" it in there "Church" but no UPCI "Pastor" is man enough to have a beard like Jesus wants them to.

@PunkApostle Are you saying that obeying the Word of God is legalism? Tell me does a person need to repent to be saved? Does a person need to be baptized? Never was there a woman priest. Jesus did not have a woman Apostle. Never was there a woman Pastor. To have women Elders and Pastors or to set a woman over a man is an abomination, period.

Excellent. Now if only the UPCI leadership could get over themselves and not persecute men who have facial hair. Also, they need to overturn the apostasy that was introduced in the 1920's namely letting women be elders.....
