I work in parts for a BMW dealer and i dont think the new M3 sounds that special, it sounds better on this video because it is inside. My advice is get a sports /free breathing exhaust system - sound much better then!

Cant say I am fully familiar with it mate, we have had a few 330s in with an AC Schnitzer which sounds quite rawcus at tickover but nobody dislikes that :). My mum drives a 330 convertible with the standard exhaust which truth be told sounds nice anyway. IMO the best sounding BMW is the 645/650, they sound awesome when they come into the workshop :)

Indeed, the name "M3" is what the extra cost would be for. The 135i is a good buy but the 3 series is more of a lower end 7 series if you ask me. Well, now it is, I mean I love me 3 series with a passion and it gors fast enough for me to have respect on every level for its engineering. If I ever try to buy a M3 Ill be an asshole and talk them down atleast 5 grand because it is over priced for them to put a car that is half the price on the market that has more than half the horsepower.
