that's realy a epiphone dot guitar?:) where it was made? :)
great video. and I wan't too ask you iff that guitar is realy good for blues? cause i want to buy one for a blues band and i'm not sure iff i make the right choice between a strat or a dot...i love them both but...is hard to choice..please reply
@treylemoine Trey. it's normally used very sparingly. No "dive bombs" unless you want a technician to follow you around. Watch videos of David Gilmour. Really a good example of tremolo use. He even shortened the bar so he wouldn't de tune his strats
I noticed about halfway through you got more into a rock tone. That's how Rock started, the tone and sound started to get heavier, and more and more people appreciated the energy of it. anyways awesome improv! hope to see a little more of this!
Great playing

Excellent playing! I've got a blond epi dot and redoing the pick guard as well.
I'm going stereo through Marshall DSL and H&K Statesman combos. Both 40 watts.
I don't need pedals anymore, the sound is crazy. Again, great playing and tone.

@retroguy02 It is slow...

@retroguy02 "Slow blues" isn't the speed of playing, it's the style of music. I wouldn't dare call SRV slow, but he played "slow blues".

Nice job. I've been looking into either the Casino or the Dot for some blues. It's difficult at this point to choose haha
WSemesteR 1 year ago
@WSemesteR In my opinion the Dot would be better because of the access to the frets in the upper register.
