Here are mine: Christianity is a religion based on the belief that God sent his Son (I won't get into trinitarian arguments) to redeem sinful Man, through his death and resurrection. We can get into side issues about virgin births and transubstantiation but essentially that's it. Now in what way does Catholicism not fall within that definition.

We are discussing the theology that justifies the ones that do want to kill people, that justifies that subjugation of women, that justifies spreading a totalitarian theological system by force until it dominates so that there can be "peace". The Bible doesn't ORDER anything, it is a collection of stories about the genealogy of one family that may, or may not, have been touched by God. It also isn't to be taken in the minutia that it is presented or as a literal document as it is the recollections of stories that were preserved in the aural history for years before they were written down. The Qu'ran says that it is the perfect book of God and that it must be taken in it's entirety, the Bible makes no such claims.
