    Tommy

  • hang on in there... :)./ If you can cope with me. You can cope with aynything bro...;).

  • Hey Guys

Correct- Phil is not on vocals here. This song is by the Brit-Funk band- 'Kandidate'. This song and 'Don't Wanna Say Goodnight', were written especially for the soundtrack of a 1976 Farah Fawcett movie 'Sunburn'. That's why you'll never find that song on their album. Phil was a member of that band. He was also a member of another Brit-Funk band 'Galaxy'. Brit-Funk is a musical style that has its origins in London in the late 1970s. Probably the most famous Brit-Funk band is 'Heatwave'.

  • Yeah!! The Soundtrack was "Sunburn" and that's my favorite track on that vinyl AND Barry Whites "I found love"

  • Heatwave originate from Germany

  • I'm sorry Hasmita123 but you're only partly correct. Heatwave did not originate in Germany. The founders were two American soldiers based in Germany. While stationed there they did perform as a duo but not as Heatwave. They later relocated to England, where they were eventually joined by two Brits, a Spaniard, a Czech, and a Jamaican. The band formed on the London nightclub circuit and was signed by UK record label GTO. The music style is definitely Brit-Funk.

  • yeah the Band formed in Zweibrücken/Germany, neighbor city of my homtown. They were GIs, but that was looooong agooo!!!

  • Hi guys, sorry but its not phil singing on this one as lead.

An absolute classic though, cant find on any cd anywhere.
