although i do appretiate her version i myself prefer the version by the mediaeval Baebes they have more of a soulful version whilest hers almost sounds sorrowfull just my preference still a beautiful rendition
@Vojna Are you as retarded as you are gay? simon and garfunkel were so amazing amd theyre music is soo powerful and beautiful and there blood and teers went into making this song how dare you say its not realy theres? your so gay i am doing youre mom right now.
@ACTlVISION ""Scarborough Fair" is a traditional ballad of the United Kingdom." - from Wikipedia. While the Simon and Garfunkel version is better in my opinion, they certainly did not come up with the lyrics or melody - I'm not sure about the guitar accompaniment, though.
wow. so why cant a girl sing it? we "fully" understand it, just like you do. women can get the full effect of the song. sexism at its best. i love it.
@ilSeerali ????? This song is about someone telling the listener to tell his ex girlfriend to perform a series of impossible tasks such as:washing a shirt in a well with no water etc...but you're right it's music from the Medieval times...don't ask, I know these things!! :D
@jrney62 i'm with you this song is verry sad and it's bin around since the midevil period. it's about death. a composer sending a message to his ex girlfriendthat he was going to die because way back then they didn't have the grave stuff they did today, back then they used to use those spices to cover up the sent of death and same with the camberic shirt, i hate when girls sing this because they don't know the whole purpose or history of it. we're learning about it durning music sooo lol/

You can't say 'no offense' and then say something offensive. It doesn't work that way.
