@sweetangel1927 the only reason why I said that it's almost perfect is still the presence of some repeating clips, everything else is imo just really PERFECT!!=) I understand that it was unbearable to hold everyone under control not to get even a single repeating for such a long period of time, if I were you, I'd give up on it from almost the very beginning lol! xD So you made just unrepeatable job and your mep is truly irreplaceable in the line of all tla meps ever existed!
@1footballma1 Yea, I know, there were! :( But I was running out of time and didn't want to make people change their MEP parts much more than necessary because a lot of them looked really good with the clips they used and I felt changing them would take that away a bit, plus some people seemed like they wanted to kill me for telling them to change so many things and in the end, I didn't want to put the pressure on people to update their MEP parts because I didn't think they would make it in time.
@sweetangel1927 hm, yep, I understand. And it's totally true, all the parts are very good the way they are, even with those clips=) The last one I forgot to mention - you've made four parts? Omg, that's a great amount of work!! And I also noticed that you were making some of your parts so that they will maximally fit to the previous and the next ones, just e.g. my part is probably fastest in the mep, and your part which goes after mine really the same pace! I'm just amazed!!
@1footballma1 Lol I dunno, I mean I just matched to the song's tempo the whole time... making sure to fade out or blend in from the last MEP part if it required it, etc. ^^

Yah I know! Sophomore year I got stuck with both Fahrenheit 451 and the Scarlet Letter; unfortunately that year we couldn’t choose one over the other so I had to read them both for ‘winter reading’…lol

i really wish i could have finished my part for this =/ but it turned out great. a lot better then i thought =P everyone had good flow and every part and style seemed to go pretty well with each other. jolaniee's part was my favorite :3 but i really liked all the parts you did rebecca. you haven't lost your touch one bit.
only thing i noticed were the newbluefx watermarks and the watermarks for each person's part. those were the only thing i didn't like :3

Well that turned out better than I thought! Everyone’s parts really came together into one big complete AMV in the end. I guess you could say we were ‘All In’ that mep! Anyway I am just wondering for my part did you join a couple of versions from my parts together for the final video? Because one of the things I masked near the end was unmasked. However; I don’t really care, jw. Also something is wrong with the channel links in the description, because my link takes me to some weird page. =]

Wow I didn't even notice that. @_@ Yea, I did combine your third and fourth revisions, because I felt the way you hit the beats at 0:13 was more accurate in Rev3 than in Rev4. You really made my life difficult with that tiny section, to be honest. No matter how many times I told you, 8 beats, 8 beats, you wouldn't hit in a pattern there! xD And you never did fix the distorted clips, so now there's squished clips :( Instead you were masking things unnecessarily... xD

I would have gotten a major headache haha I also liked how you started your part after my part ended...it made it have a very nice flow =]

I used to get a lot more comments before, and when I think about how many comments some other people must receive with the number of subscribers they have, answering ~30 comments doesn't really seem like that big of a problem xD I don't like leaving thoughtful comments unanswered, either. ^^

@sweetangel1927 oh well the beat looked nice...I must of miss cut my part when I was splitting the music track at the very beginning...oh and this is really random but have you ever read the Glass Castle or the Boy In the Stripped Pajamas because I have to chose which one to read for school. I’ve asked around already but no one really says much except ‘oh that book was sad’ I prob could look on Wiki but they made the Scarlet Letter sound like a good book…which I found very boring. ^^

This was definitely one of the best MEPs I've seen when it comes to consistency. It didn't look like it was done by twelve people, it looked like it was done by one. Amazing job.

I tried really hard to fit the parts together in the best way possible, as well as hit my beats similarly to the way the other editors were hitting their own. That was really good. The different styles kept it interesting when the lyrics became repetitive. And I have to say, EnzolieksMudkipz had superb timing at 3:02- 3:07. I admit, Rebecca, I didn't expect a MEP with that many rules to make it to the end (I kind of thought people would quit on you ;-P). But the quality was really consistent, so kudos to you. And everyone did a great job.
@BentPaperClip Rules? What rules? xD I thought I was actually pretty lenient with rules. But you were half-right, lots of people did quit on me (I had 16 editors signed up at one point, several quit, others simply never responded again, others had parts that were overshadowed by these 8), but I'm not the kind of person to leave things unfinished and really wanted to see it through to the end, so that's why 4 parts were made by me and why the MEP took 3.5 months to be done xD

And the overall quality was really consistent because I only took the best ;) Some people might be mad at me for that, but I didn't want to have an MEP with parts that I didn't feel were up to par, which is why I made it a challenge. :3 Honestly though I was rather disappointed that you didn't give it a shot, I feel like you could have made a valuable contribution.
Is that faster than it would have taken to make the video yourself?
Well, most MEPs (that I've seen) have no, or very few, rules. And they turn out as a mesh of different takes on the same song.
Yours seemed more like a Henry Ford approach. 16 (or 8) workers each made a part according to the blueprint. Haha. Not saying either is wrong. Hopefully it turned out a little different than you imagined?

LOL at the HF comparison xD It /definitely/ turned out different than I had imagined. If I had done it all myself, the clip choices would have been a lot more organized. But yea, it would have taken away people's originality. Seems like what's best for the individual isn't necessarily best for the whole. x)

Awesome video! If it weren't for those watermarks, I wouldn't have been able to tell that this was an MEP - it flowed together seamlessly!

i really wish i could have finished my part for this =/ but it turned out great. a lot better then i thought =P everyone had good flow and every part and style seemed to go pretty well with each other. jolaniee's part was my favorite :3 but i really liked all the parts you did rebecca. you haven't lost your touch one bit.
only thing i noticed were the newbluefx watermarks and the watermarks for each person's part. those were the only thing i didn't like :3

Well that turned out better than I thought! Everyone’s parts really came together into one big complete AMV in the end. I guess you could say we were ‘All In’ that mep! Anyway I am just wondering for my part did you join a couple of versions from my parts together for the final video? Because one of the things I masked near the end was unmasked. However; I don’t really care, jw. Also something is wrong with the channel links in the description, because my link takes me to some weird page. =]

Wow I didn't even notice that. @_@ Yea, I did combine your third and fourth revisions, because I felt the way you hit the beats at 0:13 was more accurate in Rev3 than in Rev4. You really made my life difficult with that tiny section, to be honest. No matter how many times I told you, 8 beats, 8 beats, you wouldn't hit in a pattern there! xD And you never did fix the distorted clips, so now there's squished clips :( Instead you were masking things unnecessarily... xD

I used to get a lot more comments before, and when I think about how many comments some other people must receive with the number of subscribers they have, answering ~30 comments doesn't really seem like that big of a problem xD I don't like leaving thoughtful comments unanswered, either. ^^

@sweetangel1927 oh well the beat looked nice...I must of miss cut my part when I was splitting the music track at the very beginning...oh and this is really random but have you ever read the Glass Castle or the Boy In the Stripped Pajamas because I have to chose which one to read for school. I’ve asked around already but no one really says much except ‘oh that book was sad’ I prob could look on Wiki but they made the Scarlet Letter sound like a good book…which I found very boring. ^^

That was really good. The different styles kept it interesting when the lyrics became repetitive. And I have to say, EnzolieksMudkipz had superb timing at 3:02- 3:07. I admit, Rebecca, I didn't expect a MEP with that many rules to make it to the end (I kind of thought people would quit on you ;-P). But the quality was really consistent, so kudos to you. And everyone did a great job.

@BentPaperClip Rules? What rules? xD I thought I was actually pretty lenient with rules. But you were half-right, lots of people did quit on me (I had 16 editors signed up at one point, several quit, others simply never responded again, others had parts that were overshadowed by these 8), but I'm not the kind of person to leave things unfinished and really wanted to see it through to the end, so that's why 4 parts were made by me and why the MEP took 3.5 months to be done xD

And the overall quality was really consistent because I only took the best ;) Some people might be mad at me for that, but I didn't want to have an MEP with parts that I didn't feel were up to par, which is why I made it a challenge. :3 Honestly though I was rather disappointed that you didn't give it a shot, I feel like you could have made a valuable contribution.

Well, most MEPs (that I've seen) have no, or very few, rules. And they turn out as a mesh of different takes on the same song.
Yours seemed more like a Henry Ford approach. 16 (or 8) workers each made a part according to the blueprint. Haha. Not saying either is wrong. Hopefully it turned out a little different than you imagined?

LOL at the HF comparison xD It /definitely/ turned out different than I had imagined. If I had done it all myself, the clip choices would have been a lot more organized. But yea, it would have taken away people's originality. Seems like what's best for the individual isn't necessarily best for the whole. x)
