Every R4 you see is made by a different company. Most of these fake and clone R4s will not be possible to update, so new games will not work on most R4s you buy.
Please consider other flashcarts, such as the Acekard2i, E-Z flash Vi, Supercard DSTWO or the CycloDS. These are all still supported (with the Acekard getting it's support via the AKAIO team).

@MrJthug You can get them online at neoconsole (dot) com I would recommend getting the r4i sdhc card, because even if you have a DS or DS lite, you may one day replace it with a DSi or DSi XL - and you'll be good to go with the R4i
@GdaTyler hey, they have a good tutorial on neoconsole (dot) com but the quick version is... you just plug the micro SD Card into the USB Reader, and then plug that into the usb slot on your PC. It'll come up as an extra drive. And then whatever files you want, you can just drag them into the new removeable drive that shows up in your windows "my computer" hope that helps... Let me know if you need more info.

i like to own legit copies of stuff that i really like, so even though i've downloaded 250 games or so, i'll end up deleting the ones that suck, hardly playing the ones i don't care much about and buying all the really good ones. i use it more to test games before i buy.
and the homebrew side is great, movies, music, apps, nintendo shouldn't sue to keep these off the market, they should take the idea and make their own version!
the new DSi is not compatible with the R4 anymore cause nintendo was soo pissed. thats why if some other people came up with a different idea just like R4 they can stop it by using system software update on the DSi making it not compatible with that game card
Yeah, well Nintendo can go fuck themselves. WE payed for the system, WE decide what to do with it, and WE decide what games we want. If Nintendo really did not want people using R4DS cards, they would have used something else for a game carteridge.
try deleting the card's software and copying it back onto the card. one of the files could've gotten corrupted. i had a problem w/ it freezing when I tried to load a game, but deleting and copying the files back fixed it.
i am a total PSP fan but because of the R4 card stuff i am thinking of going DS too now. just a quicky...That is a lite he is using right? Im not an expert on DS only PSP. And does can it work with any DS lite like the new ones. they aint trying to stop it right?
