Change his axes to maces, take off his tunic, give him a chest/shoulder/back Nordic tattoo, maybe take his helm off entirely and just leave his long, headbanging locks, and BAM! Also, i think it's neat how each member of Pentakill addresses a different genre of metal.

Honestly, I feel like this song does exactly what the title says. This is between the original two members, and as such kinda tells a story. Sona plays alone, then Morde comes into her life, subtle at first. Then 1:47, when he stops being in the shadows, and influences her and she play along with him starting at 2:13. If anything, the ending is almost like the two realize it and are almost asking each other if they want to continue making music together, and both agreeing, and they need others.

The distortion sucks. Mordekaiser doesn't need distortion. he's Mordekaiser. Perhaps you're not used to playing on distortion and aren't palm muting properly.

I think a gain lowering and a some more treble and less mid would make it sound a lot better, because Morde is metal as hell and WOULD use distortion.

Thats only if you have distortion that sounds like it came from a line 6 spyder 3 15 watt on 'insane'.

Granted palm muting is needed on certain riffs, especially with certain progressions, but most of this song, palm muting isn't needed because of the phaser and flange distortion effects. I think if those were cranked the hell down and the tone was modified to not sound like it came from said amp, it would sound a hell of a lot better.

@trinoply This distortion and flange is absolutely garbage, I agree. However, palm muting properly would still make it sound so much better. Any noticeable amount of distortion at all needs palm muting to produce a cleaner sound. Disagree? Put a little dirt on a channel, play a chord progression with and without palm muting, and you'll notice such a difference in sound.
