  • I have a mint 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car with the 7.5 liter V8 (460 CID). It gets 6.5-8mpg around town, despite its EPA of 11 city and 16 hwy. It only reaches double figures on 50mph + gentle highway cruises. Yes, its perfectly tuned. So....I recently converted it to liquified propane gas. 25% thirstier but the fuel is so much cheaper the cost per mile is only 45% that of 95RON gasoline.

  • Hey is this the 7.5 V8?

Can you tell me what's the Miles per gallon?

    Thanks.

  • @RobinWijland if you drive it sensibly.... Im guessing between 14 and 17mpg
