  • GBR?

  • If Oregon would pull their heads out of their asses on defense.....

  • The Greatest College Football Team of ALL TIME (except maybe the 83' Husker team...sigh) Great Vid' and thanks for the Upload!!! GO BIG RED!

  • 1995 was the best year of college football and everyone in the world knows it!GBR

  • The most outstanding athlete in the country that year didn't win the heisman

  • @LUFlyers15 Yeah that was a complete joke that Tommie Frazier didn't win the Heisman Trophy that year. Even people that didn't really like Nebraska thought that was obsurd.

  • As an Ohio State fan let me just say this about '95 Nebraska

This is the greatest college football team to ever step foot on the field. And it will be from here until the end of time.

  • Best team of all time

  • @iMonstrasaurus Ray Lewis played for '94 Miami. I'll never forget that 94 championship game. Best part was watching Ray Lewis and Warren Sapp act so cocky, then by the end be reduced to little crybabies. I love it! GBR!

  • @squeeks4488 Yeah, they looked like they had roller skates on by the 3rd quarter and the rest of Miami's whole defense did to.

  • @justin3818 Yet, Im not saying we would crush them, the 95 huskers were a great team, very great. I give them great credit, but my opinion is that the 01 canes were better only because we had speed on our team.

  • @iMonstrasaurus well the nation voted the 95 team the best and a panel of experts voted the 71 Nebraska team the best ever. So we have 2 votes and both go to Nebraska lol. 01 Canes were good don't get me wrong, but don't forget they played Nebraska for the Title in that year as well.

  • 2001 Miami hurricanes wouldve embarassed these guys...

  • @justin3818 wait the 2001 hurricanes that nearly loss to boston college??? yeah i don't think so... Nobody even came close to beating the 95 Huskers...."The best college football team in History... Period!!!!" GBR...

  • @rajadat808 Think about how many famous NFL players are from 01 Hurricanes:

Andre Johnson , Frank Gore , Devin Hester, Clinton Portis , Michael Irvin , Ed Reed , Ray Lewis , Santana Moss , Reggie Wayne, Vince Wilfork , Jeremy Shockey , Kellen Winslow , Greg Olsen , Jonathan Vilma , Sean Taylor , Willis McGahee , and Edgerrin James.

Think about things before you make assumptions.

  • @iMonstrasaurus having players means little compared to dominating your season. Miami almost lost 2 or 3 games in 01, 95 Nebraska only had 1 game that was within 21 pts by the end and in the National Title they won 56-21.... Over a Florida team who won the National Title the next year with basically the same team.

  • @Tim8573 Ok, lol. Thanks, didn't see it that way.

  • @Tim8573 Nebraska won 62 - 24 in the National Championship Game against Florida. They completely shut down what maybe the most prolific offense ever, well next to their own offense anyway LOL. That Florida team maybe the best #2 team ever and Nebraska completely man handled them in every phase of the game. The game wasn't nearly as close as the score indicated. I think that makes the 95 Nebraska team the greatest ever. Don't you think so Tim? They'd of hung 43 points on Bama this year.

  • @hokiepower Definitely. Being a different game now it is hard to compare, but with the timing and execution the 95 team had I wouldn't call it absurd to say they could have hung over 40 on Bama this year. I just hope we can get back to that kind of execution soon.

  • @iMonstrasaurus You need to learn who actually played for Miami in 01 sir lmao, Ray Lewis was in the NFL long before 01

  • steroids!!!!

  • @davidallenroth called weight training sir, if this was steroids than ever player nowadays is on steroids. Nebraska has always been ahead of the curve as far as weight training goes.

  • @davidallenroth most players used creatine which was completely legal in the NCAA back then.

  • @URpoopstinks2 pretty sure its still legal now lol

  • is #30 ahman green?

  • @MrSTFU80 Yep!

  • 3:17 - 3:23 LOL thats like everyone falling down.

  • By far THEE best team in the history of college football. There won't be another team to even come close to matching the athleticism and determination this team had, if so it will be decades before we see it. I mean theres a tramendous amount of talent out there dont get me wrong, but i dont think the players now-a-days couldn't match the mentality, motivation, and determination to carry out their full potential like the '95 team outstandingly demonstrated.

  • Without a doubt, Brook Berringer would have been an all pro QB. 1:13 RIP

  • the last part music being played........who is it? is it still piller?

  • remember when the '95 huskers almost lost that one game?

    ya, me neither. GBR

  • @huskerpacker67 well with respect there schedule was cupcake. I will say they're top 3 greatest team of all time with out question.

  • @FoxsitoTaquito 1995 Nebraska beat 4 top 10 teams with an average score of 49-18

  • @1tschnack no other team has come close to that stat

  • @FoxsitoTaquito not sure what schedule you saw sir. Beating 4 teams that ended in the top 10 is not cupcake to me. In fact thats a better schedule than any SEC team would ever play now....

  • In the 90's Nebraska was years ahead of most programs when it came to strength and conditioning

  • looks more like a steroid commercial to me..

  • @BallzinAvice Its called lifting weights good sir. If you didn't know Nebraska has had the best weight facilities in college football pretty much forever. That includes now as we just upgraded yet again thanks to Suh's donation.

  • Granted this was 1995...

But did it really have to show a minute of them beating the snot out of my Spartans? >_<

  • @Setosku Wasn't the score 55-14 or something? I remember Nick Saban saying Tom Osborne said to him "you're not as bad as you think." during the post game handshake haha. I'm really looking forward to the matchup of our teams this year, should be a great game!!

  • This team averaged 399.8 rushing yards per game. Need I say more?

  • The 1987 match up between FSU and Miami boasted 50 future NFL players. No other match up can come close. This Nebraska team was the cream of the crop, though. To win every game by at least 14, and to trail only twice(if you include the title game)...that is amazing. I loved how they got their fullback involved a lot, as well. Don't see that as much now

  • @Jagnole101 27 players from this Husker team went on to sign NFL contracts. It was the combination of skill. speed, power and ball control that made their offense wear down other teams defenses and that same combination ate up other teams offenses. They were brutally efficient.

  • @AnthonyT50 They never gave teams a chance to get back in it, and I like that. Always keep your foot on the gas

  • Watching this video makes me disappointed that I wasn't old enough to appreciate how much this team dominated. Here's to hoping Nebraska will return to glory some day.

Awesome choice of music, too. Pillar rocks.

  • Most dominate team in college football history. PERIOD!

  • HOLY HELL!!!! WE USED TO BE REALLLY GOOD! i grew up watching frank solich and bill callahan. hopefully Bo can get the Big Red to this again!!! :DDDDD

  • As an OU fan, I'm not AT ALL ashamed to say that this squad was BY FAR the best I'd ever seen in my 34 years on this earth. Btw, HOW IN THE HELL did Tommie Frazier not win a Heisman, injuries aside!

  • I agree the 1995 Nebraska team was the greatest college football team of all-time! To think they beat three other top 10 teams in KU, KSU and CU by more than 40 points I believe that year?!?!

  • LOL. I'm an FSU fan, but I get a kick out of looking at the 1995 Cornhusker's schedule Playing #8 and #7 back to back... and they're games go 1. Rape 2. Rape 3. Rape 4. Rape 5. 14 point win 6. Rape 7. Rape 8. Rape 9. Rape 10. Rape 11. Rape NCG. Super-rape.
  • I'm a HUGE Tomie Frasier fan, having said that I just don't believe the option offense would work today (2011). I believe college football has gotten much faster and stronger then in 95. You have teams like the USC Trojans in 05 that had too much speed on defense that could get in the backfield too fast for the option to materialize.

  • @justinjamesful nebraska ran the option play 25 percent of the time 2005 usc that played texas would have got seamrolled by nebraska 2004 usc would have got beat in a good game 2011 miam and 1995 nebraska are the best teams evers i have seen

  • @justinjamesful 1995 Nebraska was the biggest and meanest team to ever step on a football field. They avereged like 400 yards rushing a game. Allowed no sacks in 1995. 95 NU would smash 2004 USC into the dirt like no tomorrow.

  • @justinjamesful yet they got beat by a running quarterback (Vince Young)... who beat them by running lmao... irony much?

  • @justinjamesful have you watched navy and georgia tech lately id say they have made it work

  • @justinjamesful are you sure you are such a big fan? I mean you don't know how to spell Tommie Frazier.

  • What about that stupid woman beater, Lawrence Phillips? If he would've behaved and not beat up that white woman, he would've won the Heisman hands down in 1995!

  • Nebraska was named the best football team in history!!!!!!

  • I remember the huskers came to Michigan St.....ouch lol.

  • 8:53 - 9:10 pretty much sums up the dominance of this team

  • @hawklet32 Check out this one from 1995....... /watch?v=VjSRwt-2d7I

Obviously you have to type in w w w dot you tube dot com prior to /watch

Until now, fewer than 150 people have seen this.

You can also type in "huskers pump up video" the cover pic is of Christian Peter

  • the four horseman of notre dame combined their powers with 1945 army and the thus the 1995 NEBRASKA WAS BORN

  • 3:52 even more amazing! wow that team was nearly superhuman, i don't know how they did it. i just hope we can do it again.

  • 3:01 OMG BEAST!

  • Comment removed

  • 95 was like a college all-star team, best team ever.

  • Fuck the 01 Canes and 91 Huskies. GBR!!!

  • they were a great team, but the only problem with that team is they were mostly college players. Frazier, Tomich, LP, Farley, Peters. they never did anything after college accept get headlines and not the good kind

  • @KingRoughneck yeah thats a problem.

  • they were a great team, but the only problem with that team is they were mostly college players. Frazier, Tomich, LP, Farley, they never did anything after college accept get headlines and not the good kind

  • @KingRoughneck Frazier couldnt play due to medical problems...he could of easily been a running back in the nfl

  • They were absolutely UNSTOPPABLE!

  • No one has come close to that '95 team, and I don't think anyone ever will.

  • What's the last song?

  • OU fan here, and count me in for calling 1995 Nebraska as the greatest team of all time. Damn they were good. That mean type of "punch you in the mouth" good, along with all that speed to burn. They killed everybody. 25+ players (not including Tommie Frazier) went to the NFL. 53+ ppg, 14.5 ppg allowed, that is 38+ pt average MOV. Closest game was 14 points and it wasn't even that close. Almost 400 ypg on the ground. 7 yards per rush as a team. 4 teams in the Big 8 had 10 win seasons that year...

  • I havre done extensive research in college football, and this team is the best of all time, VERY, VERY closely followed by the 1971 Nebraska team.

First of all, they never scored less than 35 points in any game, and never lost any game by fewer than 14 points, That game against Washington State (35-21) came against the best defensive team in the nation that year. The last TD scored by WSU game in garbage time. Florida, Colorado, KSU, and KU - all in the Top 10, NU beat them handily..

  • WHOA WHOA WHOA... I like Bama and Nebraska... but don't fight over who is better. The only way to see who is better is a football game. Period

  • @Polonikeman Dude wtf is your problem? this team was the best there has ever been in college football espn said it and so did the rest of the country.... alabama is a great program and one the greatest ever but im not going to let you just cut down my state and my school... so do yourself a favor and stop trolling this video.... TROLL!

  • "The team that can't be beat won't be beat." Story of the 1995 Huskers!!! GO BIG RED!!!

  • i was reading online it turns out the Oklahoma defense in 1995 held Nebraska on offense scoreless in the first half, the only team to do that all year.

  • @CJLAKE123 actually, husker defense held oklahoma scoreless the entire game.....

  • The greatest football team ever! Look it up, coach after coach team after team, year after year, player after player! GOBIGRED!!!Fan after Fan!!!!

  • The greatest football team ever! Look it up, coach after coach team after team, year after year, player after player! GOBIGRED!!!

  • Weeeeeee'rrrreeeee BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

  • i like 3:06 breaks out of all of them haha

  • terrible music on here---GOLLY

  • @polonikeman - Yeah the SDSU game was personal. Half of SDSU is from Nebraska so they came ready to play and I'll be the first to admit that our team bought into the hype before the game. They're young, and they'll learn from their mistake. You mean TO put us in position to SPLIT the '84 championship with Miami but then said to "hell with that we want it all" by going for two. Yeah he lost, but it was because he wanted the solo win. Why are you on here watching these NE videos anyhow?

  • @MrWLate tommy shouldve taken a class on "HOW TO GO FOR TWO 101" and i was referring to the 95 team 96 fiesta bowl---the one they won with no split---ROLL TIDE

  • And it's not like WE are making the decision to split the Championships with other teams, I don't like it either. Number 1 should always play number 2 for the championship, that or it should be switched to playoffs like the NFL. And who the fuck are you to say we didn't deserve the Championships we split? Clearly, with other people making the choice to give it to us, there were enough people who disagree with you and thought we did deserve a piece of the trophy.

  • @MrWLate NAUGHTY NAUGHTY LANGUAGE

  • If your precious Ingram would have faced Suh and the rest of our D last year, we probably wouldn't have won the game but we surely would have made sure Ingram would not have won the Heisman just like we did with McCoy last year and Locker this year. Fuck you and Saban, Nebraska is on the rise again, I'd be scared too.

  • @MrWLate YEAH YOU WOULD LIKE TO F..K me im sure---BAMA RULES

  • @MrWLate let me know when the cornhuskers beat someone!!

  • @polonikeman - I'll let you know sweetheart.

  • 3:58 is possibly the best blindside block I have ever seen.

  • Отлично!

  • Here's a question, when was the lasttime that the winner of the SEC was taken to the woodshed and humiliated? Well, this team did just that, outscored them by over 2.5 times and held them to -28 yards rushing, and yes, that's a Negative 28 yards rushing. While this team racked up approx 500 yards rushing in the Feista Bowl. Just look at what the rest of the BIG 8 did that year in thier bowls, 6-0. If the SEC is always great, what does that one game say? My opinion, this is the best teamever

  • AWESOME POST!

95 VOTED THE GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL TEAM EVER!

NEBRASKA ON THE RISE AND WILL RESTORE ORDER! GO BIG RED!

    ALOHA FROM 808HUSKER

  • Comment removed

  • they just walker over anything in their way... nothing was ever as good

  • bud or bud light?

  • @roobadoob Bud light all the way! GO BIG RED!!!

  • we had so many great running backs

  • Greatest team I've ever seen

Good luck in the B10 Cornhusker fans

  • @rangerkav Thank you good sir :) and w/e team you root for i wish good luck as well.

  • carbonsnail@rangerkav This team was voted both offense and defensively by NCAA college football coaches across the nation as the greatest team in the history of the collegiate sport. I truly believe that a team such as that one comes along like this once in a lifetime such as a Ali, Jordan or Gretzky. This team did nothing less than unleash a holocaust upon opposing teams Saturday after Saturday with seemingly ease. They just imposed their will against other team Jesus Christ! It was beautiful.

  • THAT WAS THEN THIS IS NOW ----ROLL TIDE

  • @polonikeman And you happen to be on a video of the 1995 Huskers. Congrats on the Title, please go away and let us remember the good old days...

  • @polonikeman - If that was then and this is now then why are you watching these videos?

  • @MrWLate WHY? because MY husband and i like to watch losers!! do you know how many times osborne had your team in position to be in the position to win the national championship---hes a good man but a loser---two times you split the championship with penn st an michigan---one time you deserved it---but that was a lifetime ago---was south dakota st on your schedule this year---thats what i thought---ROLL TIDE (bo who)

  • 3:01 till 3:16 is great haha, legs were still moving and still pushing the whole time, forward progress tho.

  • if you didnt witness this team in action, you cant really understand how good they really were. they played 4 top10 and crushed them by an average score of 48-18.

01 Miami needed a fluke play against an BC team to win and barely beat VaTec.

  • Gets my vote as one of the best college football teams of all time for sure

  • From an outsider's perspective(Longhorn fan). That 1995 Husker team was crazy good. Nothing against those Miami teams of a few years go, but you have had to witness those teams from the 90s with Nebraska. They crushed almost everyone during the mid '90s, pretty much most of the '90s. When we beat them in Lincoln in the late '90s, we were ecstatic. It was so difficult just to hang with them, let alone beat them. If you are old enough, you would remember.

  • @jkbezo very true, i'm not a nebraska fan either (ohio state personally), those nebraska teams were scary good, in my opinion osbourne truly is one of the best college football coaches of all time (not best ever, but one of the best)

  • Comment removed

  • @jkbezo Yeah, and the win over NU in 96 was over a flu ridden squad. The whole team was in the dumps two-three days prior up through the game. If I remember correctly, a few of the Nebraska players where throwing up during the game. The fact that they were able to hang with Ut that game was awesome considering how sick they were.

    XMK2CATX1 1 second ago

  • @jkbezo 01 miami and 95 nebraska would have been a nail bitter

  • All Miami fans on this page... U madddd?

  • rofl, that Canes fan is clueless. HUGE Buckeye here. WELCOME TO THE BIG TEN! i can't wait to see us matched up! Nebraska '95 is the greatest college football team i'[ve ever seen.

  • this team is hands down the greatest ever...both lines were just insane, no one stood a chance against them, our line would just dominate them like rag dolls, the backfield with frazier, phillips, and green was just too fast for everyone and should be known as the greatest option team to ever play the game too

  • by far the greatest college football team of all time

  • I'm a Miami fan, but even i know that this team was just crazy. I'm glad we played you guys in 94 and not 95. You had not yet blossomed into the fury that you were a year later. Oh and by the way thanks for beating Florida as bad as you did, since they took us off their schedule i lost all respect for them.

  • the 2002 miami team would definitely give this team some trouble cuz of their speed but NU would still come out on top if they played

  • @howellrebels9 you know the 2002 team didn't win the nc right, they lost to osu in the championship game

  • anyone else want 01CanesrdGOAT to shut the hell up?

  • bottom line. . .if you play a #4 ranked team that did not even win its CONFERENCE. . .and it actually had one of its most humiliating defeats in school history that year. . .(CU 62, NU 36). . .for the national title. . .get SHUT OUT in the second half by that team (NU outscored Miami 14-0 in the second half).. . .How can you even BEGIN to claim to be the best all time NCAA team??. . .NFL prospects??? NO. .

  • @LincolnBoy71 technically they didn't shut them out in the second half, miami scored 3 points

  • @LincolnBoy71 - you're all sorts of confused man. I think you have your seasons mixed up.

  • what a dumbass. he odawg777j. You do know that scoring defense doesn't mean they scored the most touhdowns right??? right? It means they allowed the fewest. Im not sure if nebraska had the best scoring defense or not but before you call people idiots make sure you know what the hell your talking about first. idiot.

  • @huskerride dude odawg had the best comment, completely showing that canesgoat doesn't know what he is talking about and you guys rip him. odawg knows what scoring defense is, he was quoting what canesgoat said. so canesgoat think its defensive tds. Odawg was quoting. man come on enjoy it. it is the best comment. in other words how can canesgoat claim miami(01) is the best ever yet not know what scoring defense is. total lack of colleget football knowledge.

  • These games weren't even fair.

  • haha there is a drug dealer at my school and hes going to Miami lol...even the Students represent the THUG U.

  • Best Husker Vid of all time

  • 3:58 is my favorite block of all time. that's how nebraska football should be played

  • i am convinced that tom osbourne is the reincarnation of jesus christ. honestly.

  • @bmills20 your a fucking inbred idiot

  • hands down most dominate football team in collegiate football HISTORY. no other team has come close. nebraska will rise again.

  • That block at 3:56 is devastating.

  • And nobody...NOBODY...passed out of the option better than Tommie Frazier.

  • @jdbly68 Tim Tebow did ... and i fucking hate the gators

  • @JokerHAHA07 - Tim Tebow is a homosexual. If Tebow ran the Option this good its only because he was studying this team.

  • ahman green!

  • he was a true beast. he was so competitive and always ran hard and you could see his excitement when he scored.

  • who is number 30

  • Ahman Green

  • @CrazyJerks56 - are you serious?

  • Hey @yote22provo the 1995 Nebraska wasn't one of the best. THEY WERE THE BEST! Go Big Red! WE ARE BACK!

  • i have a question why are miami fans and stuff watching this video anyways? 1995 nebraska football is the best ever without a dout. Nebraska not only has the best tradition in college but also the best fans. Unlike colorado or miami we actually greet people with respect and know how to treat people. all around nebraska is the best sorry to say it. Nebraska is back

  • Probably one of the most dominant teams to ever step on the field....GBR!!!

  • You got to love the way GOAT comes here and says Husker fans are living in the past.Really then why are you on here running your trap about 01 Miami???Wasnt that like 9 yrs ago? Son you are living in the past also..I wont take an opinion from someone who was 12 when 95 NU played and a whole whoppin 18 when 01 Miami played..Son your tiny marbles had not fallen yet when both of these teams played enough said...

  • My favorite thing about this is when you ask if 09 Miami would have beat 09 Nebraska? Um...they probably wouldn't have broken the 50 on our D cause at some point Suh or Crick would have accidentally eaten Jacory Harris

  • Never would have known unless they played. Unfortunately for us (IE; Miami) we could've fielded an entire team off injured players alone by the end of the season.

  • haha yeah canesrdgoat because of this comment you can never be taken seriously again. " you have no fucking clue what youre talking about when it comes to CFB. NU has the #1 scoring defense? NU isnt even Top 5, much less #1. Baylor, Ohio, Auburn, Boise State, UAB and even Louisiana Tech had more defensive TDs than Nebraska [INSERT FOOT IN MOUTH HERE]." haha you are a sincere dumbass.haha you don't know what scoring defense is. and yes NU is first. DUMBASS. and you claim to know CFB haha.

  • @odawg777j ....that foot that you're talking about should be your own into your own mouth...scoring defense is the amount of touchdowns that a defense GIVES UP to the opposing team...not how many defensive touchdowns that a team scores...i'm not someone who really yells at people on comment boards, but i do hate when people who are completely wrong get fired up and make a fool out of themselves yelling at others...you're wrong and you need to do some research about college football

  • @brandonwallroff hey man odawg was quoting what canesgoat said. that's the whole point. odawg knows that, look at the quote man. the whole point is that canesgoat claims to know so much about cfb but doesn't know what scoring defense is. odawg knows what it is, same with every other knowledgeable college football fan. but canesgoat doesn't.

  • @brandonwallroff i mean now your comment looks stupid, don't you know what a quote is? its canesgoats words, man come on.

  • @odawg777j lmao... best scoring defense = least points against.... i think you need to learn what the F*&K u are talking about before you start to talk about college football.

  • Comment removed

  • @odawg777j , you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Scoring defense refers to how many points the defense allows. You can never be taken seriously again...see below...Nebraska did indeed have the #1 scoring defense last year...

  • @blackshirt3 scoring defense refers to how many points your defense score not how many points it allows and no Nebraska wasn't #1 in scoring defense maybe overall defense

  • @hunt12031 no, actually you got that wrong. scoring defense means points allowed

  • @Mr420woo holy shit. odawg777j and you are right. hunt12031, you are wrong. to blackshirt3, actually read odawg777j's comment. He is quoting someone else's comment and saying how stupid he is for saying it

  • @blackshirt3 Hey man odawg knows what scoring defense is. He was quoting what canesgoat said. look at the quotation marks. He also points out how NU is number one in scoring defense. He was basically saying, how can canesgoat claim 01 miami is better than 95 nebraska, yet not know what scoring defense is? and call us ignorant. okay? I know what you thought though, but odawg is right. Peace GBR
