I think the filter may've been on an off road vehicle or something. It looked like it just had a bunch of dust and such on the outside.

The short ram intakes come with a Dryflow filter, so as long as you have a dry flow filter the cleaning procedure will work for you.

This is the same cleaning procedure to clean an AMSOIL EA air filter, use any high quality ANTIBACTERIAL dish detergent and warm water.

@BrickHouston .. dishwashing soap works too.. if really oily us gasoline .(no smoking) then .let dry..
