there is no mundane ring. when i killed them, i didnt see any ring. all i saw was a staff, a scroll, some clothes, and a scroll and a potion. any way u glitched. with all that money, and feather and crap. plus all the weapons and armor.

i did it at lvl 8 you just need to take out the 2 others first while he speaks he wont attack you then when hes done speaking do some burst damage , you need to kill him fast

equipment is level based in oblivion. if you're level 21+ then you pretty much always get the best out of everything you can. try using a paralysis spell on him or something

@mikhail345 the ring wont drop if you are under lvl 22. If this is your first time through you will notice a lot of things change after lvl 20. A lot of the high level stuff happens after lvl 20.

Those are the armors from shivering isles, nice, im just atm doing the main quest line on shivering. I play on 360, iv completed every single cyrodil quest, and im lvl 49 ( which is max for me at lest with out using stuff to make your major skills go lower and train them again). And today i found amulet of axes and a mundane ring ( now i have 3 :D )from random cases in shivering while doing the main line :). Anyway, the shivering isles is an amazing add-on IMO. nice vid, i never knew that trick.

Are you kidding me? Staves are awesome! I find them very useful, especially the staff of paralysis. Normally Paralysis costs a ton of magika for a 4 second target hit, but staves allow this effect for free. Maybe you just don't know how to utilize them (you can cast spells and hit with staves for constant streams of high damage).

but they are limited in their charge and their damage, plus you can only make one custom stave throughout the whole entire game, but spells are more versatile, plus of all the weapons they had in morrowind they decided to keep staves

I dunno. I find that with a staff I'm able to keep streams of damage pouring constantly. Recharging them is easy, esp if you have Azura's Star and a soul trap+destruction custom spell. They really come in handy if you're silenced, and save you lots of magika. I will admit however that most of the few unique staves really suck, which is a dissapointment. Nearly all the staves look the same too, which sucks.

I actually only hit him twice, with my Dremora Claymore, and then I managed to avoid a spell by his sidekicks, which hit him instead. He flew right across the room. Dead. ;)

Get something with no enchantments but still owns, like a High level two hander. Put on some protection, and just hack away at the motherfucker.

Yeah, being a mage will really suck when fighting him. Being that I was completely mage when I fought him, I just put on 100% Spell absorbtion armor. It still took forever being that he reflects a lot of spells, so meele is definitly the way to go.

The armor is Madness armor it is obtained in the shivering isles for free all you have ot do is bring madness Ore to "cutter" the smith in the city of crucible and she will forge Madness armor for you to wear a good place to look for madness ore is Xedillian in the quest baiting the trap as you clear out the grummites they will no doubt be carrying some and the repopulate rather fast so you can reloot them

It's not truly a glitch. If you've played this far into the game, and if you remember correctly, people can't TRULY die. They can die, but they'll respawn only a few seconds later. It'd suck if you came back and some of your stuff was missing, so they come back with everything intact. I wouldn't really call it a glitch.
