I wouldn't be surprised if we found out Spark didn't go for the astral finish because in fear of getting punched. I also wouldn't be surprised it that was Terumi in that armor instead with a dye job.

@puertorricanstar i couldnt disagree more. the characters are so original and different. not like all these other generic looking and feeling games. you can see this series is a labor of love dude. i will admit though that the art style is very japanese, so maybe thats just not your thing.

Hakumen is only played by people that can't play the game imo. It's for people that are new to the game or have no skill at hard to play characters.

The new-player friendly characters are Jin, Ragna, and Noel, who were all designed as such. Haku-men is fairly difficult to master with his mobility limitations and all of his specials requiring meter.

Spark The Iron Wall. Impenetrable Defense. I thought the BBCS2 EVO Finals was going to be the usual borefest but Spark made it so interesting. I was literally on the edge of my seat. This Final was so hype!

WTF Spark defense was GODLIKE in this match. Shut down Knight's rushdown completely. KUDOS for a mid tier char taking EVO over Bangs, Hazamas and the like. Tiers don't win tourneys.

@KikiDaiso Actually, Tier Lists show metagame development and how consistently the character places in tournaments. It's really a tool to show which characters are thriving in the competitive scene. Matchups are completely different, hence why Noel actually has a bad matchup against Tager despite being one of the best characters. Spark proved here that he is a top player, not just in America's terms, but in general. Such incredible play.

@bludika I was disappointed with the lack of Tao. I saw pretty much everyone... save for Jin, Tsubaki, and Tao. Although, I heard Jin got nerfed. Still, I would have loved to see anyone as Tao. Maybe next year.
