i have both.. mlb 10 the show for ps3 and mlb 2k10 for the PC, honestly it just depends on what kind of player you are... 2k10 is more arcade style to me, its easy and fun.. (in my opinion) and the show is more for the baseball fans who want realism. yeah the show wins but like i said, it just depends on what kind of gamer you are.

Ive got an xbox, which in my opinion is the better console than ps3, and ive got 2k10. Ive heard the show is so good tho that people bought ps3s just to get mlb the show. I think the show is the better game, but not by much. If u play 2k10, ull see that its a pretty good game.

ok everyone says tht the show is harder but the fact is tht the show is harder at pitching and 2k is harder at batting i think both games r the same but if i had to choose 1 tht is harder i would say tht 2k10 is harder because u only have to tap a few buttons on mlb 10 and on 2k10 theres several little mistakes tht u could make so i like 2k10 alot better cause of the harder challenge but RTTS is alot of fun on 09 i was on 2011 and when 10 came out im now on 11 again thts my favorite thing of 10

Presentation is not even close. The Show kills 2K. The gameplay as well. Every aspect except 3 things, The Show wins. The swing stick and bat sound is much better on 2K. The pitching style and meters are much better on 2K and the throwing meter in the field. These are major but, everything else...yes everything goes to The show!

The 2K series is almost always making major revamps from one year to the next trying to strike a nerve with the little fan base they have and hope it does well. The Show on the other hand stay with what works and tweak little things from year to year and produce an amazing quality baseball game every year. The Show, hands down winner.

2k10 is decent, but it has a bunch of annoying errors/glitches, such as how infielders who dive for grounders make 170 mph throws to first from their knees.

The Show's graphics are leaps and bounds ahead of 2k10's, and the gameplay and overall realism are greater.

watch pedroia's reaction @ 3:08 on the show. i love how they focus on the little details. 2k improved alot this year but the show is still dominant. especially in graphics, animations, and realism. controls and announcing goes to 2k. i like the analog controls on 2k and the announcers are so much better. but overall, i'd choose the show any day.

2k10 is way better, i have both and the carrer mode on 2k10 is great, the game play is great. xbox is better than ps3 because on line there are a ton of people that know how to play and gives a challenge when playing aganst other people.

I sided with 2K10 this year too until. I played it and realized how bout the fielding and the A.I. is. Like I said on another video no doubt 2K10 is fun but at the same time little annoyances like I just mentioned will sway me in the other direction.

The show is way better then 2k10 no doubt, the gameplay n graphic are way better, one of the things I hate about 2k is that they use the same menu for the rest of the sport titles like NBA 2k10 n NHL 2k10 have the same menu. I'm not hating on 2k I used to own 2k9 (NBA n MLB ) that's bcause I didn't had my ps3 at that time, but I always consider the show to be the better than 2k

Okay MLB2k10 has much worse game play than the MLB 10 the show...I have been a long time buyer of the 2K series and I am flat out fed up with the game play they still have many things that they need to do better in their game. For example when turning a double play they run about four or five steps before throwing the ball to second and the second baseman is ALWAYS taken out by the runner. Then on the show rolling a double play is much more smooth and realistic and one can turn it 9 out of 10

@oflow100. Graphics are a big deal but I agree somewhat about your take that 2k is better gameplay wise. I like their batting way more because it's way more fluid but pitching and fielding are way more fluid in the show. 2k fixed some of the glitches but there are just too many to fix at once

The Show has better graphics and a better simulation/season/franchise mode with RTTS. 2k10 has much better actual gameplay. If you like simulations and eyecandy go with the Show. If you like actually playing the game, controlling it and having fungo with 2k10. Lots of noobs say the Show is better just based on graphics, but if I wanted to watch a baseball game I'd catch one of tv or in real life.

Hands down the show wins this. 2k 1. Looks like shit. 2. Doesn't look real. 3. Is so unrealistic like fielding and such. The show is smoother and it actually looks real! Plus road to the show is so much better than the my player mode in 2k. I owned both games but I had to return 2k because the show really is the best out there. I was a 2k an until now.

The only thing that 2K10 does better is faces (on some) Pitching and Batting skill sticks. The SHOW NEEDS the pitch and batting swing /pitch stick. Stupid buttons fr swing and pitch meter. I wind up taking all the hud and tips off in the show but, pitch buttons cant be taken off because u wouldnt know what pitches he had. Anyone else agree?

The show doesn't let you see the follow through on the swing, you don't even see the bat hit the ball WTF, also the mannerism and movement look more realistic on 2k10 you can especially can see this on the comparisons on the fly ball, the show one looks stiff when making the catch while on 2k10 you can see the outfielder camping under the ball, then the hop and follow through on the throw, plus the players faces look way more realistic on 2k10.

The Players To Me In 2k10 All Look Like Stick Figures. Also the fans around the game look like something made from the 70's. The only edge I might give 2k10 is some of the stadiums look a bit more realistic compared to the show but even then thats debatable. Show is by far the better game.

For the record I also own 360 and a ps3 so i'm not on either side of the fencepost in the ps3 xbox360 battle.

I have both, and MLB 2010 the show is the way to go if u have a ps3. It has better graphics, and the gameplay isn't as chopy and complex as the 2k10 pitching and hitting. The show also has much better game modes, and they also brought back homerun derby for it.

obviously you havent played 2k10 this year. The game is not choppy at all, you might be thinking of 2k9 that game was a mess. The pitching is not complex at all or the hitting, it just requires a little more skill than the show.
