they used a 400 cc for most of the filming and a 250 cc for the stunts. took me a long time to get it but i have the series on dvd and still enjoy watching it

With the digital FX of today they could make AMAZING stuff for a remake. I liked this series but I remember it was very shallow, it lacked of soul, that soul that made Knight Rider so successful. Good action though.

The bike is really cool, and I really did like the TV show. However, I don't think Street Hawk was a 'hit' since it only lasted 13 episodes. But I would like to thank you for posting this video. It brings back memories of when I was 15 when the show first aired.

The Bike is nice & i loved streethawk to & i've seen every episode back when i watched it in the 80's but this video would of been better if ya didnt just ride it round in circles in ya driveway it would of been better if ya took it out on the road but also have sum1 else either in a car or another bike riding next to ya filming it, that would of made the video more cooler, but apart from that its still an awsome bike :)

a full 15 customised bikes appearing in the first 13 episodes alone. A 1983 Honda XL500 featured in the pilot show, with three 1984 Honda XR500's featuring in the rest of the series. Stunt work was completed using several 1984 Honda XCR250s

Nope. It was sound effects dubbed over the real engine. The bike sounds like a Honda dirtbike, which is what Street Hawk is.
