@neolith008 It's just DIFFERENT. Appreciate diversity. I detest music that john cage creates, but this is just a different art. If you wanted that feel, listen to the original. My personal favourite perfomance of that song is the finale in american idol, believe it or not.

It seems to me that Chick is sort of letting Hiromi take the lead on most of what they're playing and he's content with comping chords and playing subtle counter lines. That being said it seems to me that Hiromi is over playing a bit.

Just my opinion, both are still ridiculously good and better than I will ever be.
