i am completely discusted with shingi. i've seen this movie and overall i was somewhat disipointed. although its a good movie (in a twisted way) i was hoping for a happy ending. not an ending that no one can understand. after watching this i couldn't think strait for days.
i don't hate Shinji. i just wished he would man up. i did how ever hate rolo (mainly because he killed Shirley). The voice actor for shingi also did the voice acting for the kid in full metal panic who was pycologicly insane, and piloted the giant robot in one of the episodes. it seems like this voice actor always gets the brainwashed wimpy kids. poor guy.
I mean completely no offense by this, but I think you're a little arrogant for that. People associate anime with kid's stuff like Digimon, Pokemon, Tokyo Mew Mew and things of that manner and assume it's all like that, but the reality is some anime is adult type shit like Evangelion, Ghost in The Shell, Blue Gender and shit like that, and those don't always have happy endings and as long as it's epic it shouldn't matter. Besides, couldn't you tell the direction it was headed in from the start ?
yeah, i understand that, and yes i did see a sad ending coming but, after all of the sad happenings in the series, i was hoping for a happy ending. over all i guess the ending isn't too unhappy. the world wasn't completely destroyed, and people had the choice to return to earth, but the events obviously messed up shinji, as you can see in the very last scene. they could have at least shown civilization being rebuilt.
its been put in a closet and wont be hapopening for alot longer then a few years, ADV barely has enough money to buy anime let alone make a movie the scale Eva would be.
Well, I've read it is in development hell, but it's planned to be released any time from 2009 to 2015. ADV is'nt alone though, New Line Cinema is with them, and they've given it a Lord of the Rings type budget, so money shouldn't be the problem.
So she really was flat chested after all.
