wow the dances they do remind me of church dances we we do here in america as african americans look at how he stomps one foot and raises both hands to the side just like black people over here.
I love the 2 babies dancing in the beginning. I thought it was random at first but was astonished to find that they were actually dancing to the rythm.
The Chinese gave us paper, printing and compass. The French built fine architecture and composed classical music. The Greeks invented algebra. The Arabs gave us numbers. Sure, these Africans may have been here longer than those people. But what the hell have they contributed to society?
@acatisfinetoowut They have kept the sanctity of the terrain wich makes up our very cradle of human history. Technology this technology that. We´re still unhappy and unbalanced, suffering from diseases by the very food we have manipulated. We kill our selfes due to depression, stress and lack of social contact. Oh my naive western friend, i think that these people are laughing at us.
@acatisfinetoowut The earliest evidence of mathematics use was found in East Africa. The first mathematicians were in Africa. I guess you are forgetting about the pyramids in Egypt, which are in Africa.
@inquisitive871 The Egyptians were a different people than the sub-Saharan African populations we see here. And East Africa was historically highly influenced by the Arabic world.
@acatisfinetoowut It's still Africa. Also, you need to research. The first university in West Africa was a place where people came from all over to get an education. The Mali Empire has some of the worlds intelligent scholars, which were Sub-Saharan.
I am a 32 year old batwa and I am grateful for my ancestors as well as my tribe on giving me the opportunity to learn about my past and anyone who thinks they don't deserve any respect is really stupid they were the first ones to give us civilization.
This is a fact and it continues well into 2009. I have seen this atrocity and it is impossible to imagine that anyone could think pygmies are anything other than people, much less eat them.
Less than 200 years ago the White settlers threw poison laden food to the Aboriginal people in the Bathurst area. The majority of White Aussies have always treated Aboriginal Australians as sub-human, and the result can be seen all over the country...devastated broken people, many having lost not only their land and freedom, but also their language and identity. The rest can barely get by without alcohol to drown their feelings of helplessness in "White" Australia.
Is that true? I did not know it. Thanks for enlightening me. From a national point of view that is how it should ideally be. Is it really so? Since u are a son of Rwanda, I will take yr word 4 it. Au revoir et kwaheri.
They seem so happy even though they don't have a ot of material things. The vidbrations are strong, spirit is strong. How could a people come here and rain terror?
They dance like Tutsi Rwandans. This shows the influence of the Tutsi culture on the sorrounding areas next 2 Ruanda. A good performance by the Pygmy. No culture is pure. We are all intermixed culturally. We borrow from here and there 2 form what we have now.
Tutsi culture? what in the world are you talking about? it's Rwandan culture, there is no such thing as Tutsi, Hutu, or batwa culture, It's Rwandan culture, there is no difference in our culture. God bless
Il faut avouer qu'il y a plusieurs peuples differents au Rouanda. Pourquoi pas s'accepter les uns les autres et vivre en paix? It would be a sad world if everyone was the same. Let's appreciate and value our differences as much as our similarities... Each one of us is a thread in the fabric of our amazing world.
