I am Thai and I am against all the bad criticism about Myra. She is truly amazingly talented. Her voice is heaven sent. Those criticizing her simply had no idea what opera sounds like. Thailand got Talent doesn't means that the show has to be anything about Thai Tradition or culture. It is Thailand which is Thai people that has got Talent, any kind of talent to show the world. A new door to world fame has opened for you, just be the best you can Myra show them they're wrong.

We should be more open-minded :) I am Thai and i dont mix the political issues with the entertaining ones :S Personally,i reckon, its just completely incomprehensible. Anyways, the thing is that its true that anyone can sing but... not everyone has this kind of voice.

@Drelnis You can't compare her to singers like Zion Daoratanahong yet. Myra's just 13 years old whereas Zion is in her mid 20s and also a well known singing teacher. No 13 year olds should be singing any roles in operas yet anyway, let alone trying to do any operatic work justice

I have worked in opera for almost 30 years and have never seen talent equal to this girl. The clarity of her voice is breathtaking and her musicianship is remarkable. Thailand should be proud to have such an outstanding talent to show the world. She is more than the most talented performer on this show, she is destined to become one of the greatest performers of all time!!! The Thai people should embrace her as a symbol of just how great this country and her people can be.

@SiamOpera I think for starters though Myra needs to work on her technique and her diction. As a classical crossover artist for the mass recording industry she might turn into a great star, but for the operatic stage, I think local singers like Zion Daoratanahong for example are much better vocalists suited for a solid operatic career. On the stage, without amplification, I do not think Myra could do the works justice. With this size of voice, what roles can she possibly sing??
