This is the first time I've heard this song in several years, and I think it fits perfectly to Jean and her life. I loved seeing the footage and her interactions with her costars. Gwen Stefani is as we all know a Harlow fan (as she proved in "The Aviator"), and I think pretty much any woman can identify with this song and Jean's problems. I haven't yet visited any of the Hollywood cemeteries but I hope to pay my respects there someday. Pay no attention to the naysayers, this is a great vid.

Yes, it is very peaceful. I also saw where Marie Dressler is. She was Jean's co-star in "Dinner at Eight." She is in the same section as Jean and her mom. And I hope you get to go too! It is the ultimate trip for any Harlow or classic movie fan!

Gorgeous! We went to Hollywood last month...and I will never forget it. Never. My husband and I went to Forest Lawn where she is resting, I walked up to the little chapel where her service was held..and well let me just say that it was surreal, wonderful, and peaceful. I just imagined all of the stars there that day when she was laid to rest. But the best part was going into the Grand Masoleum and visiting HER. I spoke a few words to her and cried. :)

Jean was a very talented lady. I loved the films she did with Clark Gable, they were always an enjoyable pair to watch. Its sad that she died so young at age 26 and never got to have what she really wanted.

Why do you keep posting the same comment on every video? Since there are a few Jean Harlow videos with "modern music" you are in the minority.

I like the mix... Jean was young and trendy in her day. The music and lyrics reflect this and makes it seem like she is current rather than past. We don't have to have everything in sepia with some plinky plonky Irving Berlin music to appreciate her.

I was always a Clark Gable & Carole Lombard, Barbara Stanwyck, and Marilyn Monroe fan. I will have to check out Jean Harlow's movies one of these days. I love this song by Gwen Stefani, I'm Just A Girl. I have heard that Jean Harlow was a very good actress along with the rest of the ones I just mentioned here.
