I was speaking purely from the point of a believer. Baptism is not a requirement for babies. It is expected that a believer do so when they are old enough to understand it, but again, it is not something that is a must in order to get to Heaven as some religions believe. Religion has nothing to do with being a follower of Jesus. It's all about being in a relationship with Him. Religion is manmade......not hard to tell given all its' difficulties.

For the most part, no it doesn't "honor" Satan. He may be mentioned in the song, but it's not to "honor" him. Most often when you hear Satan mentioned in a song, he's being used symbolically. Other times, Satan is used as an attention-grabbing gimmick. Only a very small handful of bands "honoring" Satan or trying to endorse some type of pro-Satan anti-Christian agenda. One prominent example is the Norwegian Black Metal scene who are very hateful towards Christianity, but it's not big in the US.
You have to take it in a case to case basis. Megadeth has been mentioned in this series and they are in no way endorsing Satanism. Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Motley Crue are not Satanists nor is their music pro-Satanic. Yeah well isn't that what repenting means my friend, and blasphemy is just another way of saying you don't agree with some one elses opinions its that kind of stubborn way of thinking that gives christianity a bad name. I have no problem with what other people believe.
There is no right or wrong religion. The bible even says only god can judge. So if you believe in him listen to his words and stop the judging yourself.

For the most part, no it doesn't "honor" Satan. He may be mentioned in the song, but it's not to "honor" him. Most often when you hear Satan mentioned in a song, he's being used symbolically. Other times, Satan is used as an attention-grabbing gimmick. Only a very small handful of bands "honoring" Satan or trying to endorse some type of pro-Satan anti-Christian agenda. One prominent example is the Norwegian Black Metal scene who are very hateful towards Christianity, but it's not big in the US.

You have to take it in a case to case basis. Megadeth has been mentioned in this series and they are in no way endorsing Satanism. Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Motley Crue are not Satanists nor is their music pro-Satanic. People like yourself and the narrator seem to think that anything that is not endorsing Jesus is endorsing Satan; and that's just plain wrong. You only see the world in black and white when in most instances it's really shades of gray.

Motley Crue even uses the pentagram in their logo which is a symbol of Satan. And the world is black and white not shades of gray. Your post modern philosophy is what is taking our country down step by step rung by rung. Nevertheless the overriding message is not about music, it is about Christ.

The video does a fine job of pointing out that heavy metal music is the Devil's music. I do not need to step in where the work is done. The issue is not even the music, if you throw it all out today and never listen to it again, that act will not ensure you a place in Heaven. It will not absolve you from your sin. The issue iw what do you do with Jesus? Do you accept him or deny him?

This type of thing was very popular in the '80's. I'm sure most of you remember Geraldo Rivera's doc on Satanism, Tipper Gore's PMRC and the lawsuits against Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne for kids blowing their heads off after listening to their music. Nowadays, these type of people spend their time rallying over gay rights and Prop 8. I remember while watching the Geraldo special my mom freaking out cause I had a lot of the albums he said were Satanic, man I miss the 80's!

Well, first of all i'm not religious! I was raised in a believers home, but I had to find out for myself, so it was on a retreat the message of Salvation and repentance presented there w/ the presence of Holy Spirit that just touched me, and that's how it began, repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.

Well my initial comment was more towards religion's hypocrisy of telling someone sick that they're going to Hell if they won't accept Christ into their hearts (which is true, btw) but not having power to heal that sick which would make him believe much faster than their words and ignorance about his physical condition!
