Because of this book, the term "lolita" has come to be viewed as a slang term for an under aged girl or for pedophilic fetishes. But it is also the name of a popular fashion from Japan where people dress in Victorian/Edwardian/Georgian inspired dresses and make themselves look young and innocent. It has absolutely nothing to do with the sexual aspects.

Actually, Gothic Lolita is not as 'gothic' as it's supposed to be. Gothic lolita girls are actually VERY polite and have etiquette. And this boy, is actually doing it RIGHT. I've seen so many gothic loli's, but none were displaying the true gothic loli style. You, sir, are wonderful. ^^

@SuperLoli101 Yes, I think most people think gothic lolitas are so dark because Mana's style expresses a more darker gothic lolita, which is understandable. What people are wrong about is that gothic lolitas are not gothic as in cyber goth (although I think there are cyber lolitas, lol)
