The full title is "The Demon-Haunted World: Science As a Candle In the Dark". (He was also the author of Contact, the book that the movie was based on.) Sagan was an award-winning scientist who was interested in space, UFOs, and alien contact. He has a whole chapter on aliens in The Demon-Haunted World. I highly recommend it.

Crop circles are made overnight, are extremely precise, and the crop is NOT damaged. In man-made circles, the crop IS damaged. There are also high radiation levels within the crop circles - another effect of microwave rays.

The author of the artical brought up an interesting point: The same devices which can form crop circles in seconds, from a great distance, could ALSO be used for things like: destroying enemy weapons from a distance (saving soldiers from risking thier lives, when not necessary), disarming a bomb. He theorized that all these crop circles a basically made for two reasons: (1) To test the accuracy of the device (2) To confirm that the device can be used without human detection.
In conclusion, while I certainly can't "prove" that all crop circles are man-made (or at least made by machinery created by man), I would have to say that the possibility of them being made by 'aliens' is FAR less likely than what I theorized in these few paragraphs. One thing that I think we can agree on, is that our government keeps us in the dark about ALOT of things...that being said, of course they are not going to make all the technology they have, known to the general public.
@dslgunner1977 tests have been conducted with the seeds from the plants within the circles compared to the normal control samples, when these 2 were grown next to each other the plants that sprouted from the seeds from within the circles had twice as much yield and were twice as high as the normal one. we cannot rule out that a more evolved race might be trying to raise our consciousness without interfering too much, nothing is impossible in the infinity of the universe.

I am certainly not under the impression that we Earthlings are alone in the universe - it's actually far more probable that there are many populated planets that are too far away for human technology to detect.

You do realize that the originators of crop circles (human, by the way) have already confessed and demonstrated their techniques? Crop circles are easily replicated by any humans who desire to. @AnonymousQuebec81 It was published in 1997 and was the last book ever written by Sagan before he died. He actually died shortly before it was published. The full title is "The Demon-Haunted World: Science As a Candle In the Dark". (He was also the author of Contact, the book that the movie was based on.) Sagan was an award-winning scientist who was interested in space, UFOs, and alien contact. He has a whole chapter on aliens in The Demon-Haunted World. I highly recommend it.

Some of these crop circles were man-made. u can tell because it lacks the perfection of the geometry that real crop circles have. Crop circles are made overnight, are extremely precise, and the crop is NOT damaged. In man-made circles, the crop IS damaged. Some of these crop circles are 3-D, some show molecules unknown to us etc.. Some are in binary languages written perfectly.Man cannot do that. It is not difficult to understand that we are not alone. Humanity needs help, and we are getting it.

As far as microwaves go, I'm not talking about the microwave in your kitchen, I'm talking about rays of microwaves directed toward the crops - samples from "authentic" crop circles have shown evidence of the crops being heated to high temps in a very short amount of time (this is why the stalks are bent and NOT broken)

The author of the artical brought up an interesting point: The same devices which can form crop circles in seconds, from a great distance, could ALSO be used for things like: destroying enemy weapons from a distance (saving soldiers from risking thier lives, when not necessary), disarming a bomb. He theorized that all these crop circles a basically made for two reasons: (1) To test the accuracy of the device (2) To confirm that the device can be used without human detection.

In conclusion, while I certainly can't "prove" that all crop circles are man-made (or at least made by machinery created by man), I would have to say that the possibility of them being made by 'aliens' is FAR less likely than what I theorized in these few paragraphs. One thing that I think we can agree on, is that our government keeps us in the dark about ALOT of things...that being said, of course they are not going to make all the technology they have, known to the general public.

@dslgunner1977 tests have been conducted with the seeds from the plants within the circles compared to the normal control samples, when these 2 were grown next to each other the plants that sprouted from the seeds from within the circles had twice as much yield and were twice as high as the normal one. we cannot rule out that a more evolved race might be trying to raise our consciousness without interfering too much, nothing is impossible in the infinity of the universe.

@goochon Yes, I do recall reading or hearing something about the seeds yealding more crops...how interesting! I suppose anything is possible. I am certainly not under the impression that we Earthlings are alone in the universe - it's actually far more probable that there are many populated planets that are too far away for human technology to detect.
I suppose it's possible crop circles *could* be made by extraterrestrials, I just think that it HIGHLY unlikely IMO.
